It's been days since I've been out of the guest room. The pile of food sitting on the desk next to me.

I haven't eaten anything, only drank the water. I knew someone would soon notice, but I could care less.

Standing, I walk towards the glass window, it wouldn't open. I tried multiple times, but the glass is glued to the wall. I looked outside and smiled slowly. Tracing the outline of the mountain I smiled again.

This place was quite beautiful.

"Luna!" I heard a nervous voice say from outside the door. Walking towards it, I open it to find the same young girl. She still hasn't told me her name yet.

"Yes?" I asked.

She looked around nervously before stepping closer to me.

"The Alphas coming, he knows you haven't been eating." She says glancing around, making sure no one's watching her. I look back at the food piled on the table and rush over to it.

Grabbing the plates I stack them and rush back to the girl.

"Could you get rid of these for me?" I asked her. I didn't want her to get in trouble so I grabbed a towel from the wall and threw it over the pile. She looked around nervously before nodding quickly.

I handed the pile to her and she ran off quickly looking around to make sure no one was watching her.

Closing the door slowly I lock it. Should I put something in front of it? 'No, he would get in by breaking it', I thought.

I jumped when I heard a loud shatter from outside.

Opening the door quickly, I see the young girl with plates scattered everywhere. The Alpha standing above her. He grabbed her by the throat and started lifting her into the air.

"Wait!" I cried running out of the room. I rushed towards them and grabbed onto the Alphas arm.

"Please, it's my fault." I plead looking at him. He looked at me with those cold gray eyes before dropping the girl. She scampered off and I breathed out.

Getting onto my knees, I started gathering the broken shards of glass on the floor.

"Get up." He said.

I looked up and saw the Alpha staring at me with an unreadable expression. Getting up slowly I clutch my hands against my shirt. I was nervous, no cross that out, I was frightened. This man was able to make me pee my pants, but also make my heart flutter. It confused me to no end.

I knew absolutely nothing about wolves, this being my only ever encounter with a pack and an Alpha for that matter. I still couldn't understand why he bit me, or why I'm being held captive here.

"You're coming with me." He said simply walking past me.

"Wait! I want to talk to you!" I say after him, standing in my original position. I knew I was swimming in shallow waters, but what else was I supposed to do?

"Later." He said not looking at me.

I frowned but started following him. I was still upset at what he did, I couldn't help my heart as it clenched a little, dread encasing me in its darkness as I think back to my previous life. Yes, it was hard to live like that, but that was how I grew to be myself, a strong person.

Well, I hoped I was still strong.

"Sit." The Alpha said stopping in a doorway. Looking in front of him I had to hold in my surprise. As a lavish dining room, equipped with rows and rows of food greeted me.

I watch as the Alpha takes a seat at the head of the table, not knowing what to do I grabbed the nearest seat and pulled it out. I was quite far from him, but I couldn't help feel small under his judgmental eyes.

"Come over here." His voice said, making me look up in surprise. Nodding slowly I get up and walk over to him. Standing there for a second. I looked at the seat next to him, on his right. Was it right for me to sit there?

Going against it, I sit 2 seats away from him, folding my hands I put them in my lap. I heard a sigh and I looked at the Alpha as he ran a hand through his perfect hair.

"Don't make this difficult." He said. Looking at him I nodded. Not understanding that he meant I look around at the paintings.

"Adeline, come over here." He said motioning to the seat at his right. Looking at the seat, I ignored the flutters that my heart produced as I realized I'd be closer than liking towards him.

Sitting gruffly I turned my head so that I wouldn't look at him. This place seemed awfully quiet and lonely.

"Pick something you'd like." He said to my left. Looking at the options I couldn't help but grab my throat. I didn't want to eat.

"Do you have any water?" I asked. He glared at me before getting up abruptly and walking towards a table. He grabbed the pitcher of water on the table before walking back to me. I thanked him softly as he poured out some water for me. Drinking it, I sighed.

He sat down again, looking at me as he crossed his arms over his broad chest.

He was waiting for me to eat. Shaking my head slowly I reached for a slice of bread. This would be fine. Eating it slowly I glanced at him as he watched me carefully.

I couldn't help the gag that rang out of my mouth as I tried to swallow the bread. Coughing like crazy I reached out for the water, swallowing it I shake my head and put the bread down. I couldn't stomach it.

The Alpha got up and looked at me before grabbing my throat and slamming me onto the table. I cried out as my head banged painfully onto the table.

"You will fucking eat! If I force this food down your throat, you better not fucking throw it up, otherwise, I'll make you eat it again!" He threatened grabbing the bread I was eating, before shoving it painfully in my mouth. He grabbed the water and poured it into my mouth as well. I spit it out and cried. He grabbed some more water before pouring the whole thing onto my face. I sputtered and coughed trying to get up.

"Fucking eat!" He screamed before pulling me by my arms and throwing me to the ground. I heard glass shattering and things being thrown as I sobbed into my knees.

"Get the fuck up!" I heard as he grabbed me harshly by the arm and painfully pulling me out of the room. He dragged me back the way we came, but instead of leaving me at the guest room. He pulled me up the stairs towards his room.

"No, no please." I cried out, the tears none stop as I tried to catch up with his movement.

"You'll stay in here. If I even see you outside, I will kill you myself. Do we understand?" He said throwing me into the room. I tried getting up but my knees gave out and I flopped back onto the floor. I cried into the bottom of the bed sheets as I hear the bedroom door slam shut behind me.

This is my life now
