"Alpha calm down, she will be fine. Please, we need you to wait outside. Don't make me have to restrain you." A voice threatened.

Kayden...

I tried to call out and tell him that I was ok, but nothing passed my lips. I couldn't speak.

"No! I'm not leaving her!" I could hear him scream. I called out to him again, but again to no avail.

"Beta Connon, take the Alpha outside." A voice said. I recognized him as the doctor, I tried to call out to him but I still couldn't say anything. Was I dead?

Multiple voices rang out as a fight broke out, most likely trying to take Kayden out.

"Bring more warriors and get him out of here! This is not good for the Luna, there should be silence here!" The doctor screamed.

"Don't tell me what to do! Get your fucking hands off me Connon or I swear to god, I'll kill you!" Kayden boomed, even I flinched at the anger in his voice.

"Alpha Kayden listen to me, the Luna needs her rest. You can visit her when she is well enough, all this screaming is not good for her. Stay outside and I will tell you when she wakes up." The doctor said calmly, obviously trying not to make him any angrier.

"Fine." He said quietly. My heart dropped as I heard the door close, he left.

"Luna, can you hear me?" The doctor asked me. He grabbed my hand and squeezed.

Moaning lightly I try and open my eyes.

"Luna? Ok, don't try and get up right now. You lost a lot of blood, you will have a really bad headache." He warned as my head started to spin. My eyes opened a fraction and I winced. The bright hospital light was burning my eyes. Turning towards the door I watch it, hoping that Kayden would come back.

"Alright Luna, I'm going to put you back to sleep. I'll make sure that Kayden doesn't come back in here, I have some warriors positioned outside of the door. Now go back to sleep." He said softly. I watched as he pulled out a tube from my arm and inserted a different one. I didn't even question him as I fell back again.

I woke up a while later, my head pounding and my throat dry as sandpaper.

Turning my head slightly I see a figure sitting next to my hospital bed. They were shirtless, blood covering them with their head in their hands. I realized it was Kayden. I thought he wasn't allowed back in here.

Reaching my hand out slowly he shoots up instantly.

"Adeline..." He says softly. I can feel a tear slip out as I looked at his face. He looked just like me. Tired, dirty, and crazed. We both missed each other so much, and I didn't think I could ever leave him again. It would kill me, more than this moment.

"I thought I lost you." He says quietly. Shaking my head I cry out.

"No baby, don't cry." He shushes me as he cuddles my head softly between his hands.

"I thought I killed you Kayden." I rasped out.

"You cannot kill me Adeline. The only thing that would kill me is if you left me again." He said in my hair. I could feel him shake slightly and I grabbed onto his arm, making him face me.

He was crying.

Taking my fingers and wiping them under his eyes I bring him closer as I kiss his forehead.

"You were right, about everything." I whisper holding him as he softly hovers over me.

"Of course I was right." He said kissing my cheek. I giggled and pulled him away.
