"Dammit!" I cursed as the handle wouldn't open.

After asshole left me, I realized that I was in the same room where I woke up the first time I came here. Attempting to open the balcony door on multiple occasions, I realized it was a waste. There was no way out of here.

My magic wasn't working, I tried a spell which I knew would open the door, but for some reason, it wasn't working. Almost like my magic couldn't work here. Assuming it was assholes doing, I sat back down in a huff. There was no way he was a wizard, but he might have had someone put a spell on me blocking my powers here.

Fine, if I was going to stay in this room, then I might as well go snooping. I wanted, no, more of needed some dirt on this guy. There had to be something here I could use. Maybe a weapon? I could knock him out and run.

Finding my idea brilliant I started on my hunt.

"Something, something, something." I chanted looking through the various drawers. If I couldn't find anything bad, then I would need a weapon.

Half way through my scavenger hunt, I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Scrambling to my feet and I speed walked to the bed. Throwing the covers away I slid into the bed before throwing the covers back over me. Trying to calm my racing heart I held my breath as the bedroom door opened.

Closing my eyes I kept my ears perked, so I could listen to whoever it was. The bed dipped slightly and I jumped when a hand grabbed my shoulder.

"I know you're not sleeping." The alpha said. I tried not to turn around and smack him straight across his perfect face. Opening my eyes I turn to look at him.

"What?" I huffed.

"I brought you dinner, it's soup. I asked the chefs to make it for you." He said. I looked at him cautiously not letting the surprise show on my face. Did he ask them to make this for me?

"Leave," I said turning around.

"No, I will not leave until I see you eat this. You're way too skinny to be arguing with me." He said. Looking at him I frowned. Arguing? Do you call this arguing?

"Look, I really don't appreciate you coming in here after slamming my head against a table, choking me, and taking me against my will. Not only that, you also burned my house down." I said glaring at him, fighting the broken tears that would fall any minute now.

"Just eat." He said pushing the plate towards me and ignoring my statement. He sighed and ran a hand down his tired face. My heart almost rang out in sympathy but I brushed it away, I will not turn soft around this guy, I still didn't know what he wanted from me.

"Leave first, then I'll eat," I said pointing towards the door. I would eat, I was starving, these past 4 days I didn't feel hungry at all. But at this moment, the only thing I wanted was that soup.

"Don't be difficult, I know you'll try and throw it out. Make this easy for everyone and just eat it." He said looking at me. His eyes catching me off guard as they shone a bright yellow.

Nodding slowly, trying not to replay the earlier events I reached my hand out for the spoon. Taking it in my finger, I dipped it into the soup. Cupping a hand under the spoon to catch any droppings. I put it in my mouth. Gulping it quickly, I didn't try and savor the flavor as I wanted him out of my sight fast.

He leaned back onto the pillow and watched me. Looking away from his prodding eyes, I hurriedly ate.

Taking the last spoonful I put the spoon down before turning and getting off the bed.
