3 weeks later...

"Her names Ravana," I explain to Veldon. "She said something about knowing that Amethyst was going to do something bad, but she didn't really go into detail about it. She told me that she will be gone for 3 weeks, I don't know what that means, but I haven't felt her since I came back here." I say as Kayden clutches my hand.

I was back in the castle, after my visit to the hospital Kayden insisted that I rest for a week, not letting me out of sight and making sure that I was being well taken care of. Even though I felt absolutely fine, and could start moving my back now. He would scold me if I even reached for anything.

"She's very powerful Adeline, she might know something that could help us," Veldon says prodding me to tell him more.

"Amethyst, before she died asked Ravana to find an ancient book for her. It's called the Rubiard. Ravana wouldn't retrieve it for her, and I gained control again. I didn't understand what she wanted with it, and why she would use Ravana to get it. But, that night I guess she conquered a demon and tried to kill me. I found her in her room. Ravana killed the demon, but now she's gone. I really can't help you, but if you wait 3 weeks, maybe Ravana might be able to answer your questions." I say. Veldon pondered over what I told him and he nods.

"The Rubiard is a devil book. Extremely dangerous if put in the wrong hands. I wonder what she would have used it for. Adeline, did you see anything else in her room? A drawing, anything that would have been an indication that she summoned a demon?" He asked. I racked my brain and tried to remember every detail and I frowned.

"I don't remember. But, I can show you guys what I saw." I say attempting to get up. Kayden pushes me back down but I send him an icy glare that has him shut his mouth.

"Alright, Adeline," Veldon says getting up and watching as I swing my legs over the bed, and gruffly get up. My back was a numb pain by now, because of the medication.

Slowly waving my hands in the air a mirror of sorts show up in front of us. You can see my perspective of what happened, almost like a camera following my every move.

I watch as I shoot the demon, sending him flying through the window. I run down the stairs next and burst into Amethyst's room.

"Stop!" Veldon screams. I stop the "video" and watch him as he looks closely at her room.

"There." He points at the ground. I look towards his finger. A star of sorts lay in the dust around Amethyst. How did I not notice that?

"Is that a demon sign?" I asked looking closer to it.

"No, it's a spell used to conjure them. Adeline, I don't mean to frighten you but you are in grave danger. She did not just conjure one demon. These spells open a portal, that can only be closed by the creator of the spell." He says. Nodding I start walking around the room.

"The demons name was Brandon or Brannon. He said something about a mother, I assumed he was talking about my mother but I don't know." I said standing near the window.

"Well, what does she want from Adeline?" Kayden questioned watching me sharply.

"I don't know, that's what I'm trying to understand. I've been friends with her for centuries, the fact that she tried to kill a Luna especially one that has nothing to do with her is strange, and even more strange is that this is all so weird. Nothing adds up." He said scratching his neck. He was just as confused as I was, whatever she wanted must have been important to try and kill me over it.

"I have an idea. I suspect that she probably wanted Ravana to get this book for her, but when she wouldn't comply she got angry. I was supposed to leave the next day so she probably assumed that she could kill me and nobody would wonder what happened. Cause there was no date for me to come back. Or there could be something bigger and she was planning this all along, something to do with witches and my "other side"." I said walking back to the bed.
