Chapter 11: Angela

(2 days later)

~ Angela's POV

"Alpha, I swear I don't know where she went." I pleaded making my emotions leak out in fear. I needed him to believe me, Adeline must be at Janet's home by now. 

"Don't you dare lie to me!" He sneered grabbing me and throwing my body across the cell. 

"Alpha, we followed her scent to an area, but it vanished. She must be able to use her powers again, or someone else was helping her." One of the warriors said. The Alpha turned slowly and looked at him. 

"Bring me Veldon." He said to his Beta, Connon bowed before walking off. Kayden looking at me again, before turning away. I shied away from his stare and turned into a ball. 

"When I find her, you're head will be the first thing off your body!" He threatened before closing the cage. I felt like an animal, I hated that Alpha so much. He treated us like scum, below him, enough is enough. Once I saw Adeline, I knew I could use her to escape, to get away from this life. 

"You won't find her!" I found myself saying. 

I regretted those words the moment they came out of my mouth. 

"Of course you know where she is, you thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for you, didn't you. You thought you could use Adeline to escape. But guess what? You're not going anywhere. I will find her, and when I do. You and that mouth of yours will be burned off, piece by piece." The alpha said crouching down to my height. Glaring at him I spit on his face. 

This really got him angry as his canines elongated.

"Oh, you shouldn't have done that." He said as he bent the silver bars and grabbed me. The silver on his hands burned my neck as he choked me. Dragging me by the neck he threw me to the ground. 

"Shift." He said. Shaking my head I tried to scoot away. 

"Shift!" He said again in his alpha tone, and my wolf immediately came onto. 

"Now little pup... time for your punishment." He said grabbing the scruff of my neck as my wolf flailed around. Bringing me outside he walked towards the pole that stayed in the middle of the field. My wolf whined loudly and wiggled around, trying to bite the Alpha a couple times. 

The alpha grabbed my snout and pulled me painfully towards the pole. He took the silver chains and strapped them around my legs. My wolf howled in pain, but that wouldn't even compare to the pain I felt when he attached the silver bar around my neck. My wolf thrashed around trying to get rid of the nuisance. 

"You'll stay like this pup. No food, no water. Until I find my Luna." He said turning and walking away. My wolf howled in pain and I thrashed around again. 

~ Kayden's POV (yay!)

Walking furiously back into the castle I gripped the stone columns as my fist went right through them. 

"Dammit!" I screamed throwing some vases as I started on my rampage. How dare she defy me, how dare she leave me. She's mine and only mine. I knew I shouldn't have let her out, that dumb pup thought that she could use my mate to help her escape. Now, she'll stay on that leash until I say she can get out of it. 

Once I find Adeline, she'll have more things to worry about than me hurting her. My whole pack was going crazy, not only did they need a Luna, but they couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that she's a witch. 

Some stupid men had challenged me for the alpha title but I killed them easily. Not only did I have an annoying mate, but I had to worry about my pack as well.
