(This part isn't set in anybody's point of view.)

The day had arrived. The plan would be played out, and things would be how they were meant to be. The day was cloudy, and looked like it was going to rain. The group dragged themselves to school with dread and excitement in the pit of their stomachs. They were ready. Their plan was to pull the fire alarm and run as fast as possible to the roof of the school. The fire alarm would cause everybody to gather outside to witness everything. Nobody would know a thing. They all knew that they would never see each other again, but at least they were dying together.

The hours until lunch dragged by, and the group thought that they couldn't wait any longer. After many hours of patience, the lunch bell rang. Lunch began at 12:15 and ended at 12:45. The plan was that Mark was supposed to pull the fire alarm at 12:30, and they would go up to the roof. Each minute was agonizingly slow as they waited. Tabitha glanced up at the clock.

"It's time." Here we go. Mark walked over to the fire alarm, making sure that nobody was in sight. He pulled it, sending the whole lunchroom into pandemonium.

They quickly made their way through the janitor's room, and up the stairs to the top of the roof. Emotions flooded through them as they realized that they were actually going to go through with this. The group gathered in a circle on the far side of the roof, as to not be seen and to wait for all of the students. A single tear rolled down Emily's cheek as she began to recite words from a Crown The Empire song.

Will you remember me after the lights go out?

Will you remember me after the sun goes down?

She was too emotional to sing the rest. They knew that these were their last few moments together. Charlotte was the one to break the silence within them.

"Let's go." They all walked to the near edge of the roof, dragging their feet as if they were concrete. They stood in a line and Emily shared a final kiss with Carter. Carter was on the very end of the line and took Emily's hand. Mark was on the other side of Emily and took her hand as well as Tabitha's. Liam took Tabitha's hand and shot her one last million dollar smile, and then joined hands with Charlotte.

A few kids had noticed them standing up there and began to cry out. Soon all eyes were on them. They all looked at each other, and they knew.

"1..2..3" Those would be the last words that Tabitha would ever utter. On the word three, they all jumped with their hands still clasped tightly together. The blood rushed in their ears as they heard the students screaming in horror. They were falling together, and they would die together. All of their pain would finally be rid of them.

Finally, everything went black. The hideous crack of bones on the pavement rang out, making the children scream. They did it. They were dead and gone.

Or were they?
