As I approach the guard rail, I was confused by what I saw. There was a boy and a girl just sitting there. The boy looked up at me and suddenly spoke up.

"Wait..stop." I stopped walking, the rain still pouring hard. These two kids looked to be about my age, and I suddenly wondered if they went to the same school as me. The girl was kind of tall, with ginger hair and blue eyes. The boy was about the same height as me, but he had black hair and green eyes. I was super confused.. what was going on?

"Did you come here to commit suicide?" The girl asked abruptly. How did she know that? I thought to myself.

"Um.. yeah.. but how did you know that?" I asked, complete confusion filling my mind.

"Because we came here to do it too." The boy said.

"What? No way!"

"My name is Emily Sans and I go to West Side Middle school." The girl said.

"My name is Carter Brown and I also go to West Side middle school. I know this may sound strange, but we came to commit suicide at the exact same place and time." Carter said slowly.

"And I guess you have too.I came here to jump off of this bridge, Carter was already here, standing on the rail." They almost sounded crazy, but I was starting to believe it. Why? Because I came to do it too.

"Then Emily and I started talking, and we learned that we were in the same grade and went to the same school and came here for the same reason."

" I guess that makes 3 of us.." I finished slowly.

"So you DO go to West Side middle school?" Emily asked.

"Yes, and my name is Mark Fletcher. And, I suppose there's a reason why we're all here." I said to them.

"Okay, I'll start with my story." Carter then proceeded to tell me that his dad had died a few years ago and that he was bullied almost daily.

"That sounds awful!" I said disgustedly. He also told me that some douche name Jackson Smith tried to drown him in the school pool today.

"God, I'm so sorry Carter! That must have been awful!" I couldn't hide my sympathy for him. I tried to lighten the mood a bit with a joke.

"Geez, no wonder he's so fucked up! I sell drugs to his mom at least once a week!" Carter and Emily burst into laughter. Now it was Emily's turn to tell her story.

"Well, I guess you could say that my mom isn't the best mom around." She paused for a moment, and then kept going.

"It's almost like shes not even a real person sometimes. She drinks a lot and yells at me for no reason." We persuaded her to keep going.

"Anyway, the shit she does makes me really depressed, and she makes me feel like I don't belong." She began to roll up her sleeves, and what I saw horrified me. There were cuts all the way up her arm, not even an inch apart. They also looked super fresh, some even still bleeding slightly.

"She makes me feel so terrible, that I end up doing this to myself."

"Emily..." I stammered slowly.

"I've never showed anybody, and I don't want you to feel bad for me because this isn't some pity party." Well, that definitely let me know that it wasn't for attention based on how she cut and she covered them up.

"I usually do it alone in my room while listening to my favorite music. Anyway, enough about myself." She said.

"Tell us your story Mark." I took a deep breath. How did they not know about me already? I cleared my throat and began to speak.

"Ever since I was a little boy, drugs have always been a part of my life." I paused before beginning again.

"My mom isn't around much because she is always out doing drugs or God even knows what. Since my mom isn't around much, I have to support myself with some things by selling drugs." Emily's eyes grew wide.

"So you were't kidding earlier?" Carter asked. I chuckled slightly before continuing.

"Nope. And here's the interesting part." They looked at me as if telling me to carry on.

"I've never done drugs in my entire life."

"But that seems so unlikely!" Carter said in bewilderment.

"I've never smoked cigarettes, drank alcohol or any of that in my entire life." I could tell that they were easily shocked by my story. I even told them how on that same day, I got mugged at a drug deal by a kid named Liam.

"Where do you even get the drugs?" Asked Emily curiously.

"My supplier's name is Amber, but I don't know where she gets them at." Before another word could be spoken, we all looked to see a figure in the distance......
