Since the dawn of time women and animals alike have been giving birth to children every day. It's a special moment the mother and father get to share in and it goes into their memory banks for years to come. Most mothers are great and have instincts that will carry through from child to child. Then there are other mothers who lack and as they reproduce it gets worse and worse. For most people, it's common to have more than one father of their children. I never thought that would be me but here I am nearly 16 weeks pregnant with my husband's first child. It's not my first of course but it's a hurdle we've gotten over.

I pace the house today as it snows and I think of the guys who are off having a good time with this tour. I can't focus and I haven't been feeling well all day but that can wait since the cries of Vander rake through the house and there is a knock on the door. El is standing on the other side of the door and I let her in as I race up the stairs to Vander. He's up from his nap and now he's ready to play, I on the other hand just want to sleep.

"I am glad to see you, I feel like crap." I say to her as she lifts Vander into his seat for lunch.

"You don't look good why don't you go take a nap?"

"You sure you'll be alright?"

"Yes, go."

I lay in bed and I'm out almost instantly. I hadn't realized I wasn't sleeping well or at all, between the late-night feedings and the phone calls I'm exhausted.

Once I wake I hear Vander and El laughing at something on TV. I head down the stairs and Vander is the first one to see me as he yells.

"Momma"

I pick him up and I can't help but feel sick still. I'm unsure what's going on and it's hard to talk to El about it since no one other than Ash knows I'm pregnant.

"You sure you're ok? You still look terrible." She says taking Vander from me

"I don't know what's going on, this is different." I say

"How is it different?"

"It's like cramps but way worse."

"You know they told you they would get worse now that you've had a baby."

"It's not supposed to be that time." I say heading for the stairs.

I get into the bathroom and it feels as if I've already peed myself. I can't imagine what I'm going to see when I sit down but I wasn't prepared for what I saw.

"EL!" I yell and she comes up the stairs into the bathroom. She plops Vander on the bed before opening the bathroom door.

"Oh my god! Are you ok?"

"No, No I'm not."

"I can't help you if you don't talk to me." She barks as I start to cry.

"This is bad. I'm pregnant El and there isn't supposed to be any blood.

We look at my pants covered in blood and I can't stop crying.

"I need my phone." I manage.

She tosses my phone at me and instantly Dial Ash but I know he's at an interview. I'm watching it live on TV but he doesn't answer. I see him twitch as the phone rings but to no avail. I dial Harry knowing he's close by.

"Paige."

"Harry, make him answer his phone. I need him to answer his phone." I bark at him.

I watch the screen and there is a pause in the conversation followed by Harry's voice telling Ash to call his wife. He looks panicked and pulls all the leads off while he dials me.
