Sleeping with Naill Horan

~Chapter 32~

The room service comes and wakes me as Niall closes the door. I didn't sleep well and he can see it in my eyes. Vander is looking at me from the other bed and instantly I smile. He slides off the other bed and comes to me. Niall tosses him on the bed and he lays there giggling. Niall is looking at me but the feelings are already stirring inside of me. I'm sick and at this point I had to run to the bathroom.

"You ok in there?" Niall asks through the closed door.

"This happened last time too. I have myself so worked up over this all I do is throw up." I say as I open the door.

"You poor thing." He hugs me in.

We eat and although I'm not hungry and I know it's going to come up later I eat. Niall drives us to the court house where we meet the lawyer and they ask Niall to sit with us. He's still not sure what the point of him being there is but there must be a good reason. The judge comes in and I recognize him from the last time I was here. He eyes me and I can't tell if he's happy to see me or not.

Everything starts and Vander is being good so far but I'm worried the longer we're here the less happy he's going to be. Jack takes the stage and is talking about the incident but he fails to mention a lot of things that happened. I'm nervous and I feel like I may throw up again. That's when everything seemed to fall out of place. Niall is called to the stand by his brother's lawyer and I'm shocked. I reach for the nearest can and throw up noticing the faces of everyone around me.

"Mr. Horan what can you tell me about your brother Jack?"

"What do you want to know because he's dead to me?"

"What do you mean by dead to you?"

"As far as I'm concerned he's not a family member of mine anymore."

"Will you tell me about your brother as the two of you grew up?"

"We were normal brothers as we grew up but once we got out of high school he changed. He started drinking and verbally abusing people. I hadn't known he was physically abusing people until the night he choked Paigelyn."

"Tell me what Paigelyn has to do with this?"

"We are here because he choked her are we not?"

"We are."

"Ok then. I was on stage when it happened I came back to see Ashton beating him. I went to her as soon as I heard knowing I could talk to her."

Once they heard enough from Niall he came back and I requested a break since I was hungry and I knew Vander would be too. He gave us an hour and we went to this small shop, where all of us ate until we were full. We returned to the court house and waited to begin again. It was my turn and I was dreading all of it.

"Paigelyn it is nice to see you again." The judge says.

"I would like to say the same to you."

"Tell us about what happened."

"My friend Elowyn and I were in the pit at a concert like we normally are. During the intermission, the security asked that we go backstage because there was a breach and he needed us to be safe. Immediately we went back and I sat on the sofa to wait for Ashton. Elowyn went to Luke's room so I was alone at the time. That's when I heard Jack talking, he told me that Niall wished me and our son dead and he was going to act upon that for him. I was 37 weeks pregnant with Nialls son at the time and I hadn't known he felt that way. He closed the gap on us but I fell back onto the sofa and he started to choke me. I made a yelp somehow and that's when I nearly passed out but Ashton came through shoving him off of me."
