Three Years Later

Things have taken off a lot in the last three years and it's hard to imagine my life without my husband and our children. It's not often someone can be so blessed and still feel the need to give more. Ashton and his band 5 Seconds of Summer are in Japan on tour with Harry and his band One Direction. There are times I don't mind being alone with the kids but today is not one of those days. They have one more month before they will return to us. I can't wait to see his face and how much the kids have grown over the last year. I also am pregnant with my third child another boy. Ash and I are more than ready for his arrival and the tour will be over before he makes his appearance.

Niall and Ash call every day as they always have to talk to the kids and me. I keep them updated on the way they behave and believe me Vander has his moments. There are days it's hard to keep up with the tantrums and the hitting, but I manage and believe me no one likes it when mommy's mad. Vander who is now 5 and Athena who is now three are at each other's throats and I wish I could send Vander to his father Niall's place. The tour is almost over and I can't wait for it to be here. I miss Ash and it's beginning to show. My friend El and her husband Luke who is in the same band as Ash have two little boys Jenson and Hendrix. Hendrix is only six months old while Jenson has just turned three. We go together a lot but it's nice to see her and her boys.

My mother has since been doing well and has come to visit a few different times. We've made amends and everything is back to the way it used to be. My brother even came to visit knowing I wasn't happy with him the last time I saw him. We've also made amends and believe me it's nice to have him in town where he's also trying to start a band.

Ash and I have been through a bit since the last small tour but this one was just like old times. During the summer after Athena's first birthday we found out I was pregnant. What should have been a good time for us ended in a miscarriage and believe me they never get any easier. This one took me a lot longer to get over then I thought but we made it through. We've also had a hard time being away from each other this time since they are so far away. I can't just drive to him with the kids like I used to with Vander. El and I used to drop what we were doing so we could see them. It's much harder to travel pregnant and with two children.

As soon as the tour is over Ash returns home to us where we will await the arrival of our son. Niall drops by to pick Vander up for the rest of the summer. We agreed that during the summer months Niall could have him and we would have him on the weekends then it would swap during the school year. It's a bittersweet moment for us as his Fiancé Cat is also pregnant and I know he's a lot to handle. We kiss him goodbye and he leaves with Niall promising us he will be good for them. As he drives off we wave and I can't believe how much my baby has grown.
