Christmas Entry #3: The Christmas Star's Perpetration

"...3,2,1! MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Sabay sabay naming sabi ng tumuntong na ang mahabang kamay ng orasan sa ikalabing dalawang numero nito.

Nandito kami sa apartment ni Tita Martha. We decided to celebrate just a simple Christmas celebration na kami lang din apat. Jamie said that we also need a break to solve case and relax and lastly for her to bond with each and everyone or kay Loki lang.

"Merry Christmas Lorelei." Alistair greeted and genuine smiled at me.

"Merry Christmas too Ali." I greeted back and hug him.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS LOKIII!" Narinig ko na naman ang impit na tili ni Jamie.

As usual, kumakapit na naman siya kay Loki like some sort of a koala hugging the branch of a tree.

"Merry Christmas." And that's what only Loki said. As usual.

Lumapit ako sakanila for me to greet them.

"Merry Christmas!" I smile at them.

Tumingin sakin si Jamie and glared at me.

Mas lalo niyang niyakap ang kanang braso ni Loki na para bang susulutin o aagawin ko sakanya si Loki. Well, Jamie never change, she always follow and stick to Loki everywhere and kulang na lang pati sa CR. I guess gusto niya talaga si Loki and Loki's just really dense when it comes to feelings so he doesn't realize what Jamie really feel for him.

"Merry Christmas Lorelei." Loki said in a monotone voice.

I turn to Jamie who is giving me a dagger looks.

"Merry Christmas Jamie." I smiled at her.

"Merry Christmas." Jamie said in exasperate tone and still, giving me a dagger look. Kung nakakamatay ang tingin well, I guess hindi pa ako makakaabot ng pasko.

"Shall we eat the food now? I'm starving but we need to wait until 12 o'clock so I need to drink my saliva and endure this." Alistair said.

We all laugh because of that.

Nag-uusap kami ng aming mga plano with our families for Christmas vacation. Like going to the beach, out of town or even country. Natigil sandali ang pag-uusap namin dahil biglang tumunog ang phone ni Jamie.

"Excuse me." Jamie said at pumunta sa medyo isolated na lugar.

Patuloy lang kami na nag-uusap tungkol sa mga plano nang biglang tumili si Jamie.

Sabay sabay kaming tumayo tatlo at nilapitan siya. She is still holding her phone and her face look shock because of something that she heard.

"OMYGOD!" Jamie exclaimed.

"What happened?" Tanong ni Loki sakanya.

Tumingin siya kay Loki at sumilay ang ngiti sakanyang labi. She really looks happy.

"Someone invited me to a party right now! I mean an exclusive private party!" Sabi ni Jamie sabay tili.

"But we already have a party here." Al said and put his arms across his chest.

"Alistair's right." Sabi ni Loki at tumango at aambang aalis na.

"But this is Rachel Dominguez we are talking about! Do you know her? That beautiful actress and also a singer. Kinuha siya ng sikat na theatre sa ibang bansa because of her great voice! She invited us because she is a fan of our club!" Jamie explained. She's almost pleading.

"Paano nakaabot sakanya? I mean we're here at some sort of province and makakaabot bigla sakanya?" I asked her.

Tumingin siya sakin at umangat ang kanyang kanang kilay.
