OKAY so I'm on a blood thinner because I have a giant blood clot in my leg due to my surgery.
I was asking my mom how blood thinners worked because I was curious considering it hurts like hell. She started to explain that it's kinda like when you pour water into lemonade and it thins the lemonade. This is true, but I'm only getting .55 ML of blood thinner and if it thinned it like water does to lemonade, wouldn't my blood vessels be exploding?
So like, does it kill red blood cells? Does it increase the amount of plasma? Or does it explode my blood vessels?
Someone who knows science, explain.
Also remember to look both ways before crossing a one way street.
