Simple Laissez-faire

It seems a pressing topic as of late, to be considered "ethical". I found myself leaving dinner one evening last week and coming across the stray thought of "have I had an ethical year?", and seeing as though it's the last day of it, and I am still without an answer, I suppose I may just stop trying to answer it entirely. It would make sense in assessing my decisions made these past 12 months, to consider that the rest of the human race kind of threw ethics out the window, and moreover I could blame the influence of others for swaying my actions, but alas, I am knowledgeable of the fact that the move is completely juvenile and irresponsible, so the thought passes quickly.

It seems almost an inconvenience to shoot down ideas as such so quickly, but my narcissism sweeps it under the rug in no time, reassuring me that it is just another part of being incredibly intelligent and my mind seems to be balanced again.

A ying-yang relationship almost, between immense amounts of self-absorption, followed, or often preceded by loads of self-loathing. Now mind you, sometimes the itinerary schedules more of one, or, rarely, there is a change stating that we shall have a "grey" day, in which it is physically impossible to separate the white from the black. Though these days are apparent in the "controversially abusive" relationship these two have, the level is nearly balanced constantly. Not to be mistaken in me telling you this relationship is healthy, because I assure you, it is quite the opposite, however, the notable balance of the two, is almost, motif worthy, story-like, stereotypically unworldly. Apparently so, that it has compelled me to compose this entire prompt in response to the seemingly silly and cartoonish balance of two negative forces. I cannot assign black or white to either of these, for good and evil do not quite suit them, but- where there is one, there is another, small amounts of each in the other.
