Chapter 16

I wake up snuggled into a hard chest. Arms are wrapped tightly around my waist, preventing me from moving away.

"Good morning babe" Josh mumbles in probably the sexiest morning voice ever and nuzzles his nose into the top of my head.

I could stay like this forever, I think to myself but then I realize that I really have to pee. I try getting up, but Josh isn't having it. He just tightens his grip on my waist.

"Joooosh let me up" I whine, still squirming and trying to get up.

All Josh does is groan in reply.

"Pleeaaasee I really have to pee I'll come back afterwards."

"Fine but you better come straight back" he says and finally releases his death grip on me.

I quickly run into his bathroom and do my business, then look in the mirror. Oh god I look like one of those troll dolls, poor Josh for having to see me like this. After washing my face and combing through my hair with my fingers, I finally look presentable and walk back into the room, sitting on Josh's bed again.

Josh is still laying down, with his muscular chest on full display. Why does my kidnapper have to be so hot?

"I can feel you staring at me babe" Josh murmurs, not opening his eyes.

"Sorry" I whisper, unsure what to do now, so I just stand in the middle of the room looking at the floor.

"Get over here" Josh mumbles in his sexy morning voice, then finally opens his eyes, scooting up and opening his arms.

I walk over and sit on Josh's lap, cuddling into his warm chest. We sit like this and just enjoy each other's company. He puts his chin on top of my head.

"I like this" I murmur, taking in Josh's scent.

"I like this too baby girl" he says, kissing the top of my head.

"Can we just stay like this all day?" I ask, not wanting to get up and move away from Josh.

"I wish babe, but some guys are coming over to stay for a few days. You're gonna have to stay close to me because I don't want any of them hitting on you. You're mine."

"So I can't even talk to them?"

"You can talk to them, but you just have to stay close to me. Understand?"

I let out a little sigh of frustration, then he grabs my chin and tilts it upwards so I'm looking at him.

"I said do you understand?" He asks in a calm but slightly angry voice.

"Yes Josh I understand. You don't have to be worried about anyone coming after me because I only want you" I say, rubbing his arm and trying to calm him down.

Josh seems to relax after that, and he smiles down at me. He gives me a kiss and then gets out of bed.

"Come on miss lazy, you have to get up and shower" he says, pulling on my hand.

"Noooo I don't wanna get up" I whine, trying to stay on the bed.

Josh then picks me up bridal style and carries me into his bathroom, setting me on the sink counter. He keeps his hands on my waist after he puts me on the counter.
