Today is the first day in months that I can leave the house. I excitedly sit up in bed, already thinking of outfit ideas. It's only 8:30, but excitement woke me up and there's no point in trying to go back to sleep.
I'm finally getting out of the house
Skipping over to my closet and clothes drawers, I pull out various clothing items and put together a cute yet casual outfit that follows all Josh's clothes rules.

I wait another half hour, and Josh once again still isn't awake. Not being able to wait any longer, I walk into his room, seeing him still asleep.
That's enough sleep time for you mister
I yank open some of the curtains, hearing Josh groan.
"Good morning!!" I say happily. "Can we go now?"
"Nicole, go back to bed" Josh groans.
"Please noo I wanna leave soon" I say with a pout.
Josh groans again, and grabs my waist, pulling me onto the bed and laying on top of me.
"You smell good" he mutters, starting to kiss my neck.
I let him continue for a few seconds before sliding out from under him and running to the door. "We can finish that when we get back" I say with a smirk before skipping out, hearing Josh complain and finally get out of bed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Breakfast is quickly made and eaten, and both of us are finally ready to go. I'm standing in the kitchen drinking a glass of water when Josh casually walks into the room and lifts me up, putting me on one of the counters.
"Josh what are you doi-"
"I just want to remind you of what will happen if you try anything. Remember what happened to Tyler when he tried to take you from me" he says, cutting me off while staring into my eyes with a possessive but slightly angry look.
I sigh and look down sadly. "I won't" I whisper, trying not to let my voice break, feeling a tear roll down my cheek as I remember Tyler on the floor, bruised and bloody for trying to help me. He got hurt and it was my fault.
"It's okay baby I'm sorry" Josh says, hugging me tightly as I try to get control of my emotions.
It wasn't completely my fault. If Josh wasn't so crazy Tyler would be fine. All Tyler did was help me and Josh could've killed him if I wasn't there to stop it from escalating. Josh needs help.
Reminded of one of the reasons why I have to escape, I mentally smile and take a deep breath.
"I'm okay. I didn't mean to get so emotional but I'm about to start my period so I can't really control it."
Josh smiles and kisses my forehead, lifting me off the counter. "It's okay I know you're always extra emotional when this time of the month comes around. Let's get going and we can stop at the store on the way back to make sure you have enough uhh.... feminine supplies" he says awkwardly with an embarrassed look on his face.
I burst out laughing and hug Josh to me. "You're so funny babe."
Josh pulls away and walks into the garage to start the car. Before joining him, I smirk, being relieved that another step of the escape plan has been accomplished.
Authors Note Happy new year everyone! I'm sitting here crying as I realize school starts tomorrow. On a side note, I adopted a water turtle a few days ago and named him Winston, and I've also gotten a ton of fish for my new aquarium, which have had some babies, so I am a happy cookie. How is everyone doing? What did you get for Christmas? I am curious
