Chapter 19

It's been a few days since Josh's friends left. I'm glad that Josh and I can be alone, but I still feel that there's some tension over what happened with Sam. Josh seems so angry about it. I just want him to get over it so we can move on with our lives. Josh doesn't want to let me out of his sight now and it really bothers me because I really need space sometimes. He barely lets me go to the bathroom by myself.

It's about 7:00 in the evening, and Josh and I are currently watching a movie. We're both very quiet at the moment and I feel kind of awkward. I just try to focus on the movie we're watching, which is Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone. Josh's phone starts ringing, and when he sees the caller ID he doesn't answer the call.

"Um Josh, aren't you going to answer you phone?" I ask, looking at him curiously.

"No" is all he says.

"Why?" I question.

Josh sighs. "Nicole, just watch the movie."

Well okay then. I train my attention back on the tv and start falling back into the world of Harry Potter, but a few minutes later Josh's phone starts to ring again. He checks the caller ID and ignores it.

I groan. "Jooosshhh answer your phone it's really annoying."

"I don't want to right now."

"Josh answer your phone or I'll answer it for you."

Josh grunts in annoyance and answers the phone.

"Yeah Tyler" he says.

Tyler as in Tyler Joseph? Oh my god my boyfriend is on the phone with Tyler Joseph. They're in a band together so it's not surprising though. Josh gets up and walks out of the room, still talking to Tyler.

I'm curious at what they're talking about, so I lower the volume on the tv and try to hear what Josh is saying.

"Tyler no, I don't think writing more music is a good idea right now" Josh says.

Josh pauses, and I assume Tyler is saying something.

"No Tyler I just don't want to have anybody over right now."

Another pause.

"Tyler, I don't want to have anyone around my girlfriend" Josh says, slightly raising his voice.

Tyler says something else.

"Tyler she's my fucking girlfriend and I said I don't want any guys around her so just drop it before I get angry" Josh says, sounding furious now.

"I have to go. Bye" is all he says before hanging up the phone.

I hear footsteps and Josh comes back into the living room, looking slightly angry . He sits down and starts watching the movie again.

"What was that about?" I ask.

"Nothing. Tyler just wants to come over to write music and I told him no because I don't want anyone around you."

"Josh, Tyler's your best friend. Why would you say that?"

"Because you're mine and like I said, I don't want anyone around you right now."
