"Why don't you try harder to fit in? I mean if you acted like other girls..."

Yulia wasn't about to hear this again so without a word she stood up and left the room, slamming the door to her room as soon as she was safely behind it.

What does she know? Does she not think I tried that? Hell if I could change I would....I have fucking tried to change and felt like I was going crazy.

She thought, slamming her fist into the surface of the door, her hand hitting at an strange angle on the uneven design, leaving a smear of red behind and prompting a curse to come from the teens mouth.

God? Why are you putting me through this? Why won't you just intervene? Everyone said that praying will take these thoughts away so why haven't you?

She thought, her eyes burning though she refused to have the emotions to come out in any manner. Instead she just drove her fist into the door again, farther ripping the skin and staining it's white surface.

Why can't I just be normal?

she thought back to a documentary she had saw on easter, About how some people in the Philippines flagellate themselves to show penance to god. Sighing she went into the hall bathroom and shut the door, wondering if maybe if she did something similar that maybe God would finally hear her?

with that thought in mind she rummaged in the bottom of the washbasin until she found a small, yellow box cutter and sighed

Lena....Please don't hate me because of this.

she thought as she locked the door.

Lena sighed as she sat on her bed, laptop resting on her crossed legs with Mango, the dog laying behind her.

"Can you believe this shit boy? This girl said that Yulia tried to feel her up. What the hell? I don't believe that, do you?"

She stated, earning a yawn from the dog who just positioned himself back down for sleep.

snapping the computer shut with a snap Lena grabbed her cellphone.

"I'm going to ask Yulia who the girl is. I might not believe her but I want to know what the hell they are saying shit for."

Yulia could barely walk when she had heard the beeping of her cellphone, though she forced herself out of the stained water and into a robe before heading into her room. The bleeding had stopped luckily minutes ago though her administrations left her skin red-raw and very sore.

"Shit! Hello?"

She yelped, sitting down and answering the phone though this only earned a questioning response from Lena/

"Hey Yulia, are you okay?

Yulia mentally cursed at this.

damn perceptive ginger.

She thought before she lied

"Yeah, I tripped over my game controller....had the wired one sitting on my bed and evidently the common sense to step over alluded me."

The lies came out as smooth silk, though they left a bad taste in her mouth.

"I saw something on a group thing on Yakkix that I couldn't believe."

Lena began, though she was cut off by a groan.

"was it rape, Witch or murder attempt? Seriously those idiots need new material."

Yulia retorted, causing Lena to freeze slightly.

"It was the first one but witch? Why the heck do they call you that?"

She asked and she could practically hear the brunette rolling her eyes.

"I like mythology okay? And I may or may not know bits and pieces of Different languages. Put those two together and evidently you are a witch."

Yulia's response made the redhead want to facepalm.

"Seriously? I think that's cool. I mean, at least you're not like other teenagers our age going out and partying and whatnot."

she stated earning a snort

"Hey, If I get drunk I do it alone because I end up doing some dumb shit. Been drunk twice and don't want a repeat. Woke up with blue hair once."

As they talked Yulia wondered if maybe this time things would be a little different, that maybe having Lena there was a sign that God was listening. Though that was something that she would have to bring up with her dad later since she was defiantly not going back downstairs to face the snark of her mother in that moment.
