Yulia sat on Lena's bed, playing with the covers as she waited on Lena to speak, though Lena seemed to be taking her time.
"I just want to know how you got in that closet to begin with." Lena stated with a sigh, taking a seat beside her, though Yulia didn't look up.
"Basically and I quote 'they were shoving the fag back in the closet.' it's not the first time something like this happened to me so it's no big deal really, I just really really don't like small spaces and I kinda go mental."
The dark haired girl answered, her voice growing soft as she spoke.
"You don't have tell me any more if you don't want, we can talk about anything else." Lena stated, taking Yulia's hand.
"No, it's okay. You probably should know what happened." Yulia sighed before continuing.
"My so called best friend found out I was gay and more or less spread it all through the school, even saying I came on to her and tried to kiss her or whatever. You dumb fuck friend's girlfriend decided that she didn't want to live near a faggot or whatever and got her boyfriend and a group of others to........It'll be easier if I show you. Just don't freak out."
With that Yulia slowly pulled off her shirt, her face glowing red as she did so. Though Lena didn't have time to be embarrassed as she noticed the multitude of scars that ran over her back.
"What happened?" she asked, feeling tears well in her eyes as she imagined just what the other girl must have gone through.
"There was a Dance and a group....they were supposed to be my best friends....They....They beat me within an inch of my life. If it hadn't been for a group of high school students I don't even know what they would have done."
Her voice cracked as she continued
"That's why we came here....We were hoping....that it would be at least a little better."
Lena didn't even think about it as she moved to pull the distraught girl into a hug, ignoring the fact that the dark haired teen was currently only half dressed.
"I am so sorry." Lena whispered, feeling Yulia stiffen at the sudden contact but insted of moving away she just let the other girl move closer.
"Not your fault...you weren't the one who basically told me to kill myself every single day or threatened to do it for me. You're the opposite of that actually."
