Lena sighed as she heard her name called, prompting her to turn around only to see the girl who had knocked her to the floor the previous day standing there, something about her strangely familiar though Lena couldn't place it and she knew she wouldn't forget a face if she had met them.

"What do you want?"

She asked, earning a smile.

"Nothing, I was just going to ask you where the Psychology class was. I don't know where it is and I thought I knew everywhere here."

Yulia stated, rubbing the back of her neck nervously.

Why is it so hard to talk to her? Jeez, it's not like she is suddenly going to hate my guts.

Yulia thought, trying to follow Lena without running into anyone in the crowded hallway.

"Mrs. S. just started here this year, she's from new york originally but came over here when she married some guy in the military."

Lena responded, before adding

"You said you knew the school. Did you go to school here before?"

Yulia didn't want to lie though she didn't want to give away who she was just yet.

"Yeah, a while ago. That's how I knew your name....I knew Yulia too. Though of course back then I was this little nerdy brat."

She stated, the lie coming easily.

"That reminds me to find Yulia's email. A virus wiped my stupid computer and locked me out of my email."

Lena stated, causing the brunette to stop in her tracks slightly.

Okay so that's why she stopped responding. i thought it was something I said.

"Don't you know better than download shit?"

She retorted, earning a groan.

"It wasn't me. Katya, my little sister decided to download this game which evidently was malware." Lena retorted, stopping in front of a room.

"Well it's here, want to have lunch with my friends and I? You seem pretty cool."

Yulia wanted to laugh at that and just come clean but she would keep the game going form a tiny bit.

"Okay, cool. It'll be Good to make some friends here. Haven knows that I have next to none on this part of town. Well besides Aly. Oh by the way. is she and Karina or whatever her name still together?"

Yulia asked, earning a sigh.

"K had a baby by some bastard that forced himself on her. Aly let her move in with her and they've been together since."

Lena retorted before adding

"Well I better go, I have Latin and I swear Mr. Sykes waits on no one."

By the time lunch rolled around Yulia was both starving and excited to see exactly how much things had changed in a year's time.

Ivan, I think this was a good thing. everything is different now. I'm sure there's still Assholes but everything seems different, people are different.

She texted him before heading down to the lunchroom.

"Olegovna! Over here!"

Ugh...I am still not use to being called that. Only time anyone usually says it is when I fuck something up.

She thought before going over to where Lena and a few other students sat.
