Yulia groaned as she sat up in bed, glancing over at the clock as it was late after noon before she glanced over at Lena, who was sleeping beside her. She looked dead tired, although it must have been well into the after noon since the sun shone through the window and down onto the bed. Noticing this she couldn't help but to also notice how peaceful Lena looked laying there, the sun shining down on her, bringing out the natural golden highlights in her red hair that was only visible if you looked closely.

How can someone who was up at three AM still look like an angel?

Yulia wondered, blushing as she realized what she was thinking and shook the thought from her mind as she carefully got out of bed, heading toward the bathroom.

You must have lost your mind Volkova. First you look her up, next you say she looks like  an angel. The fuck is wrong with you? She's your best friend for heaven's shakes!"

She thought as she turned on the shower, stepping under it while it was still cold, not seeming to even notice.

Lena woke up to the sound of muttered cursing, causing her to glance up, only to see a topless Yulia tossing a shirt back into the closet before grabbing another one. She couldn't help but let her eyes trace over the scars on Yulia's skin, some faded slightly while others stood out boldly against her tanned skin. She remembered what Yulia had told her the previous night, making her wonder if any of the marks were from her own mother.

She wanted nothing more but to be able to peel back every layer Yulia built around herself, seeing everything from every scar, every dark thought. She just wanted to know everything about the other girl.

When the hell did she get so...Full figured?

Lena thought though she wanted to die just for having that thought.

She's your best friend, stupid. Stop that.

she mentally scolded herself before getting out of bed, just as Yulia finally decided on a shirt she wanted.

When Yulia turned around she blushed, quickly tucking then T-shirt into her jeans.

"Sorry about that....Seems like I forgot to wash my favorite shirt so had to get another."

She stated, looking down.

Stop being so damn awkward!

She lectured herself subconsciously, rubbing the back of her neck slightly as she glanced away from Lena, not noticing that the redhead, too was blushing.

"It's fine. We have the same things right?"

Lena retorted, grinning slightly at how awkward Yulia was being.

"Yeah....Um. I'll step out and let you get changed."

Damn it...I have lost my mind!

Yulia thought bitterly as she went downstairs.

Ivan was sitting at the table, flipping through a catalog and drinking coffee when Yulia stormed in, causing him to look over his reading classes.

"What's up with you this morning?" He asked as she slumped down into a seat at the table.

"I think I am losing my fucking mind."
