Yulia was nervous as she pulled into Lena's driveway, eyes trailing over to Lena who was dressed in a red tank top, belly shirt and a pair of shorts, chasing a younger girl-Who she could only guess was Katya-around the yard with a water gun.

"Who is that? You're girlfriend?"

Yulia hoped to God that she wasn't blushing at that comment, or that Lena didn't notice that she had been basically checking her out.

What in The nine circles of hell is wrong with me? She's my best friend for heaven's sake!

She wondered just as she heard Lena retort with a laugh.

"No, why is it that every time I have a girl over you automatically think she's more than a friend?"

"Hey, wolf girl, are you going to just stand over there all day or are you going to come in?" Lena called to Yulia, noticing how flustered she suddenly seemed.

Gee thanks for freaking her out Katy.

She thought as Yulia smirked.

"Oh so we're back on nickname bases now?"

She retorted, hopping the fence easily before adding "You're parents aren't home yet are they?"

"Yes we are and No they aren't. So it's just you me, the dog and Katya."

Lena responded, earning a sigh.

"Great, they're going to come home to find a tattooed biker chick sitting on their couch."

Yulia groaned.

"We could always go to my room then."

Lena retorted, causing Katya to whirl round to leer up at Yulia.

"Don't even think about it! I know your type and you are not going to rape my sister!"

Yulia really wished the ground would swallow her by that point.

"The frilly hell have you let her watch?"

She asked Lena, who's face was almost as red as her shirt.

"You know what? I don't know but I think I need to put parental controls on my netflix account."

Lena responded, running a hand over her face.

"I assure you, Olegovna here isn't going to hurt me."

Lena said after a few minutes, earning a look.

"And how do you know?"

Yulia really wanted to know what the hell that Katya had watched, or at least why the hell she thought she was threatening?

However before she could respond a voice called from across the street.

"Oh look, the freak is back."

Yulia bit her tongue to keep from hurling even worse insults at the boy who looked a few years older than her.

"Shut the hell up Martin! Just go hide up step-Mommy's dress tail like you always do." She sneered, glancing at Lena who suddenly looked worried.

"You'd love to run to her wouldn't you Lesbo? Why don't you....Oh wait, I remember....What parent would love a freak like you!"

The world seemed to freeze around Yulia who stood there unable to speak, her eyes burning. Actuations of it being her fault that her father was dead ringing clear in her mind as well as her mother sneering to go and don't come back and the many visits that she had attempted during holidays only to find herself insulted.
