I walked out the place as tears run down my face. I put my hand on my mouth so they won't hear my muffled sobs. I could hear the music playing and the scene I've watched kept replaying on my mind. It hurts. I felt pain in my chest. That ws the first time I've ever felt something like that. All my life, I was sheltered well and protected, only surrounded with people who love and cherish me. I never thought that Chase will be tge cause of the pain I felt.
What hurts the most is that I can't ask them to stop.
I can't just wak in there and tell them, "Hey, I'm in love with Chase, could you two please stop your relationship because it's hurting me."
I can't do that because it's selfish.
I can't do that because I love them both.
I can't do that because I have no right to do so.
I walked and walked, not paying attention to where I'm going.
I was walking like a zombie until a bright light flashed before my eyes.
I had no time to react then I got hit.
And everything went black.
==============================================================
"Is she okay?" I heard a man's voice ask.
"Yes, you're lucky you didn't hit her too hard. She doesn't have a fractured bone or what. But as you can see, there was an impact on her head. It's not serious, she only bled a little so you don't have to worry." a soft voice of a woman answered.
"Thank God! I received a call while driving but the phone slipped in my hand and fell under my seat. So I looked for it. Then when I looked up, it's too late, I had hit her."
"Stop being careless, Daniel. Look what you've done to the poor girl."
I decided that it was the best time to open my eyes and when I did, I first saw a woman in her late thirties.
She was blonde and very pretty. She has green eyes, reminding me of Jake.
Then I turned my head to the side and my eyes widened as I saw the man who was talking a while ago.
It's Chase's father!
I couldn't be wrong...he's alive?!
But Chase's mom told him that his Dad's dead. Chase believed it all his life.
How could she keep this from Chase?
No, there had to be a good and logical reason why she kept this from Chase.
