“Princess, what the hell are you doing in the backseat?” Chase scolded me.
We were in his car, I hopped in first and when he got into his car to start the engine, his eyes widened as he noticed that I wasn’t seating beside him.
“Uh…seating?”
“I know that.” He replied in a DUH tone.
“So why are you asking me if you know that?”
“I’m asking you because you’re supposed to seat beside me.” He glared at me as he patted the seat beside him.
I decided to seat in the backseat because he’s going to drive amber home and it wasn’t right if Amber stayed in the backseat though I was sure she wouldn’t mind. We were in the car, waiting for Amber to arrive.
“Are you going to drive Amber home?”
“Yes.”
“Then I’m seating here.”
“What in the f*cking hell is your issue, Samantha?! You’ve been so difficult today! You’ve been really distant since I announced that Amber and I are together. You don’t spend much time with me anymore. You even spend more time with that Jake guy!” he said in gritted teeth, his expression was blank but I could see fury building in his eyes.
I was kinda scare because Chase rarely curses whenever I was around.
I reached his hand which was resting on the seat and rubbed it.
“Don’t get mad baby.”
His eyes softened as soon as he heard me call him Baby.
That always calmed him down.
“Why are you acting like that, Princess?”
“Chase…you got a girlfriend now.”
“Yeah, so??”
“Things have changed, Chase.”
“It doesn’t have to.”
“But it does.”
“Explain.”
“Baby, we talked about this before, right?”
“I still don’t get it. We just agreed not to be sweet in front of everyone, that’s all.”
“Exactly.”
“We never talked about you staying away from me.”
