Sam POV
I woke up without Chase by my side. My bathroom’s door was open so for sure, Chase wasn’t there. He must have gone home, I thought. I looked at my bedside table and found a note. It said:
Dear princess,
Good morning. Sorry, I went home without waking you up. By the way, get ready. I’ll pick you up at 1. :))
Love lots,
Your baby
He’s going to pick me up at 1? I looked at my clock. It’s only 10 in the morning. I got up and turned to look at my window, hoping to see Chase in his room. But the lights were off meaning he wasn’t there. His car wasn’t there either. I stepped into the shower. Half an hour later, I got out of the shower and was choosing clothes to wear. Chase didn’t say where he was taking me. I didn’t bother calling him to ask what I should wear because I was sure he’ll just say ‘anything would do because you’ll still look beautiful anyway.’ So I need something casual. I settled on jeans and a blouse.
At exactly 1pm, the door burst open. I turned to that direction. It was Chase. He was wearing a white shirt that clung to his body perfectly. I could see why I fell for him. He’s just so hot. He walked to me.
“You ready?” He asked me and I nodded.
He held my hand and led me to his car. He opened up the door for me and got to the side of his car. He drove off. But I still had no idea where we’re going.
He stopped by a movie theater. We went out from the car as he held my both hands and we stood in front of the movie theater. He handed me a rose.
“This is where I first felt pain.”
I waited for him to continue.
“I was on a date with Amber. Then you were on a date with Jake. For some reason, I felt like someone was stabbing my heart when I saw you two together. It hurt. It hurt a lot. But I told myself that I was just hurt because I see you as my little sister. I didn’t want to see you with another guy because I was protective of you.”
I smiled at that.
“Let’s go.”
He held my hand and went back inside the car. He stopped by the park after a couple of minutes. We sat on the bench and he handed me another rose.
