I woke up early with a bad headache. That’s what happens when you cry your heart out at night. Stupid me.
Then I suddenly remembered why I cried like hell last night.
Chase and Amber, they’re officially a couple. The star quarterback and the cheerleader, they’re such a perfect couple. It’s been 2 days since they got together. They were inseparable.
And where was I in the situation?
Nowhere. I was the third wheel, their wingman.
At least, I’d be known as the bridge, the reason why they got together.
Yeah, it hurts like hell. But I made up my mind.
I was going to be a good friend to them. I decided to support them because I knew they’re happy with each other. And if getting together was their happiness then bring on the pain. After all, life doesn’t stop with a heartbreak, right? I had to stand up from my downfall. I had to be strong. It’s not the end of my world. Let’s just say it was a start.
I grabbed my phone and dialed Rose’s number.
The phone rung twice before she answered it.
“Hey Rose?”
There was no answer then I heard a lot of moans.
“Uh…Rose, are you there?”
“Ahhhhh! Faster! Uh…you hit the spot! OH MY GOD! Harder, Alex!”
“Scream my name!”
“Aleeeeeex!”
Then I heard the both of them groan at the same time.
My cheeks burned at what I heard.
I may not be experienced but I was not that innocent.
“So….I see that you’re busy. Call me when you’re not.”
I scrolled through my contacts to find someone.
No luck. I forgot my friends are limited.
I should really socialize more.
I’ve reached Jake’s contact number and called him.
He picked up at the first ring.
“Hello?”
“Hey Jake.”
“Hey Sam, what’s up?”
