Three months earlier . . .It took me a while to find them.
I was still familiarizing myself with my new Minecraft friends when I discovered two people by the names of Speedy and Sidearms.
I discovered that they knew Jahova, a YouTuber the Sidemen and I started GTA with ages ago.
From him I was able to find Callux, and as a result Calfreezy. They shared a lobby and it took me a long time to get the address.
It had been so long. We rarely went to each other's lobbies as we saw each other everyday anyway. When Simon cleared all of our contacts from our log books, they were wiped away too.
I glanced back at the sleeping Sidemen and took a deep breath.
God, am I really doing this?
I typed in the numbers slowly before pressing enter. I typed in a quick code to ensure the portal would close behind me.
I took a deep breath before stepping in. The portal whooshed and I stepped out on the other side.
They weren't asleep. When I arrived they looked up from where they were talking on their small two-person couch.
I stared at them in silence, taking it in. My heart had never beaten so rapidly.
They're here. They're actually here.
Callux stared at me, a grin forming on his face. "No fucking way."
Cal clasped a hand to his mouth, in shock. I grinned hopefully at the both of them. "What? No welcome back?"
"This isn't some kind of prank, right?" Cal said, standing. "Yo, give me a hug, bro."
We hugged briefly and I did the same with Callux.
"It's so good to see you, man," Callux said, clapping me on the back.
"You too," I laughed.
"Come sit down, bro," Cal said.
"What happened to all of you guys?" Callux asked as we sit down. "You guys just disappeared. We couldn't access your lobby and we never got on the same servers as you guys again. Gudjon disappeared too."
I scowled at the mention of Gudjondaniel. "He's the reason we disappeared. Gudjondaniel."
"What happened?" Cal asked impatiently.
"He came over one night, when we were sleeping," I explained. "He tried to strangle JJ to death. I was awake and caught him. I woke the others and we kicked him out of the lobby."
"Shit, man," Cal said, shaking his head. "Fuck."
"I know," I said, nodding. "But that's why we disappeared. We cut off all ties with all of our friends. Cleared our contact logs. Blocked all of you guys. They- we were scared of another betrayal. Another Gudjondaniel. I'm so sorry we just left like that. Genuinely. You guys didn't deserve that."
"We get it." Cal nodded. "It's cool, man. Clearly not everyone cut off their contacts, though."
"Yeah," Callux agreed. "Since when are you talking to Hova again?"
I laughed. "It took me this long to find you guys. I met some new friends on Minecraft and it turns out they were in the same lobby."
Cal shook his head. "Fucking Minecraft," he said disbelievingly. "Of course it'd be that shitty game."
I was so unbelievably happy to see them again. It had been too long.
"How is everyone?" I demanded. "Manny? Chip? Chris?-"
