I hear footsteps rush towards me before Lachlan turns me over into my back. "Where?" he asks, scanning me.

"Leg, neck, back, stomach," I mutter. "Neck."

Lachlan lifts me up and I let out a cry of pain. "Ouch, ouch, ouch."

"Hey!" JJ intervenes. "Get the fuck off him!"

I shake my head at him weakly. "Not now, JJ. It's fine. I trust them."

JJ steps back and allows Lachlan to pass him, a confused look mixed with anger and betrayal on his face.

This is why I kept my two worlds separate.

Lachlan carefully walks towards the couch. "Sorry, Vikk."

Rob gives me a quick smile as Lachlan sets me down in front of him, but I can tell he's worried too. I let out a grunt of pain as Lachlan settles me.

"Your leg needs stitches," Rob says, examining me. "So does your stomach. Your back will be really sore for a while and get some serious bruising, but you'll be fine. But I don't know what the fudge to do with your neck."

"Bandage it and hope I don't bleed out?" I offer.

"I might have to," Rob says solemnly. "The skin on your neck is too fragile to attempt stitches. I'm not going to pretend to be a doctor. You'd better hope whatever went through your neck was clean."

Infection. Oh God, I hadn't even thought of that.

Rob bandages my neck first, shaking his head. "This should've killed you. You should've died."

Lachlan holds my hand supportively as Rob carefully stitches up my leg. I wince at every time the needle goes in, but keep my mouth shut.

At some point during the stitching, Simon comes and sits beside me, offering silent comfort. He sits stiffly, ready to defend himself if need be. The guarded look in his eyes softens as I offer him a weak smile.

Rob places a bandage over the stitches in my leg and starts on my stomach. This time the pain is worse and I grit my teeth, screwing up my face in agony. I grip Lachlan's hand tighter, and he makes no complaint. Rob finally finishes and puts a bandage over it, and then he's finished.

"So, what the fudge happened?" Preston asks, gaining some strange looks from the Sidemen.

"Gudjondaniel," I say. And that's really all that needs to be said.

I see the eyes of the Pack harden. Even they know enough about him to hate him.

"Help me up," I murmur to Lachlan.

Lachlan helps me prop myself up against the back of the couch. Simon twitches slightly, and I know how strange it is to let a stranger help one of his friends.

"JJ," I say, finding his guarded face. "Your leg."

JJ shakes his head. "I'm fine."

He's not fine. I saw the large gash in his leg and I can see the blood soaked fabric surrounding it.

I sit up properly, away from the back of the couch, and flinch at the immediate sharp pain in my back.

"I can do the stitches," I offer him. "I know how." I know a lot of things you all don't.

Rob passes me the medical kit which I accept with a smile. JJ nods in assent and I gesture him forward. He shakes his head at me, his eyes darting to the lounging Pack members around me.

"For God's sake," I mutter. Then to Lachlan. "Help me."

With Lachlan's assistance, I pull myself up and limp over to JJ. Simon follows us closely.
