Today's only option is Minecraft."Strange," Josh remarks.
Usually, we have two options, ever since this lobby has started hosting twelve of us. Twelve people in one game is never a good idea.
"HTM?" Mitch asks, glancing at us.
After four days, my arm is finally out of the sling and is mostly pain-free.
"Sure," I nod, but then I shake my head. "This isn't good. Gudjondaniel is there. It's too dangerous."
Simon raises an eyebrow at me. "Any more dangerous than you being there?"
I shake my head, turning to Rob. "Have we got any other servers ready?"
Rob smiles apologetically at me. "Sorry, man."
"Do you reckon we could put off the water temple for one more day?" I ask anxiously.
"Put off what now?" Josh cuts in.
"The water temple," I say impatiently. "Lachlan, Rob and I have been planning to go take it over. It's full of guardians - these fish that shoot sorta laser beams at you - and then there's the boss. It's way too dangerous to take you guys there."
"Chill, man," Josh says. "You go with Lachlan and Rob, and we'll entertain ourselves."
I pause. "Are you sure?"
"We've been on the server before, Vikk," Tobi says reassuringly. "We know our way around well enough."
"Okay," I agree. "But I'm picking you guys up from spawn and taking you to the lagoon at least. If you need anything, you can use your watch to message us."
I step into the portal first, appearing in my house. I rush out and into my stable. I mount Blackjack and quickly set off towards spawn.
My watch burns as more and more people join the server. Carefully, as to not unbalance on Blackjack, I check my watch to see who's on the server. Sure enough Gudjondaniel is labelled clearly.
I finally arrive at spawn, slowing down as I spot the Sidemen looking kind of lost.
"Hey, guys," I greet, pulling back on the reins so Blackjack comes to a complete stop.
"Who wants to ride with me?" I ask, grinning.
Simon quickly clambers onto the back of Blackjack with little gracefulness, much to the protests of the other Sidemen.
We start towards my house, Blackjack staying at a slow trot. Simon awkwardly puts his arms around me and I snicker quietly.
"Vikk," Simon says quietly. "About what I said a week ago, after the fight..."
I close my eyes and breathe in deeply. I'd completely humiliated myself in my blind anger and told Simon a lot of things that are meant to be kept to myself. But he said a lot of things too that I won't forget any time soon.
"It's fine," I say in a tight voice. "I've forgotten about it."
"I need to get you guys some swords," I remark, trying to change subject. "You shouldn't be walking around unarmed."
After a lengthy discussion about no particular topic, we reach the lagoon and I get Simon to get off before taking Blackjack down to the stables. I come back up the stairs and wade through the water to get to my house.
"Man, I can't do this," Tobi jokingly complains as he wades through the water after me.
I make my way up to my chest room, quickly locating some sticks and cobblestone. I quickly craft them on the crafting table and hand one to each of the Sidemen except Tobi.
