I walked into the kitchen and saw max sitting at the bar with a glass of water.
"What are you doing up?" I asks causing him to jump a little by my presents. "I couldn't sleep that well" he said "what are you doing up?" he asked "I don't know, but my head is pounding" I said taking a seat beside him "do you want some Tylenol?" he asked I nod my head and he gets 2 pills and refills his glass of water "here" he says and hands me the pills and water.
"Thanks" I say and take the pills.
After about 5 minutes of sitting in silence he says "I'm sorry you got hit and I wasn't there to stop it"
"It's ok, I guess I was at the wrong place at the wrong time" I say and look at him. he takes in a big gasp of air and his eyes widen "damn! your eye is purple and swollen" he half yells I nod "yea, it hurts" I say "come on, let's go lay down" he says getting up and opened one of his arms "k" I say quietly
When we get to his room I flop down on the bed and roll up in the cover, cause it's really cold, and max laughs at me "what?" I ask innocently "you" he says I laugh "nothing, that's why I love you" he says. I look down and think 'who would love me?' I thought.
I felt his finger lift my chin up and he looked down and leaned in to kiss me.
"I love you too" I say back and he hugs me tighter and we fall asleep just like that.
