Penultimate Chapter!

Transfiguration Sunday

Tears fell through his eyes...for he realized it all...

"I'm sorry...sniff...I'm sorry that I've hurt you so bad!"

I looked at his eyes...I could see in him that he is true to himself...

But...it's too late...

Christian Anthony's POV:

And everything went well...

Cherry's friends were able to collect enough funds for the operation to repair Father Jean's liver...as everyone of us prayed for his safe and speedy recovery.

Two and a half weeks later, it is Transfiguration Sunday. Father Jean will be discharged by afternoon. For the time being, Archbishop Tiroda himself celebrates mass in the church...he even makes an offer to convert the church into a cathedral because of the vast number of tourist visiting the church...ever since Imee's very first miracle...the conversion of the an consecrated host...into a living tissue of a human heart.

After we make our usual Sunday cathecism session with the youth and children, Imee and I joined Catherine, Kyle and Cherry in their outreach program in a faraway town....

"Brothers and sisters, you are blessed to be part of this outreach program." Imee makes a speech in front of the beneficiaries. "God is always good...all the time. He keeps finding a way to keep you all safe from the claws of the devil, showering you with blessings through everyday activities in our lives, and leading you to the eternal rewards of happiness and salvation of heaven."

"Remember, don't give away your blessings that you will receive for these are the contributing factors in shaping your life here on earth. That's already enough proof that God will never ever leave everyone behind. Our Good Lord sacrificed His life to the sake of forgiveness of the sins...and he sacrificed His life not for the selective few like His apostles...but also for all those who believe in Him...and His promises for eternal life."

"So brothers and sisters, let us not forget to pray to the Good Lord. he always care for you...he wants to protect you...he wants to talk to you. He's your friend...a friend that will never leave your side. He will make things more clearer to you...he will make turn your frown upside down...he will bring color to your life. If something happened bad to you, don't blame God...instead, learn lessons from your mistakes...since God intends to do mistakes...not to humiliate you, but for you to change for the better."

The outreach program went well...gift goods have been given to the beneficiaries, entertainment acts and fun games fill happiness for kids and senior citizens, and spiritual advice from me, Imee, Catherine, Cherry and Kyle.

And as the outreach program continues into the afternoon, Imee invited me to stroll with her in a scenic observation deck...where we could see from afar...our church and city...and even the sea beyond.

"It's been awhile since we go out somewhere else." Imee smiles as I tour her around the deck. "Ever since I was a child, I've always dreamt in going to more far places like this."
