At breakfast everyone was happy about the arrival of Felix.
“I take it he's famous with the little ones?” I ask Jemma as we sit down with french toast that morning.
“Well Sammy speaks about him as if he's a hero and he helps out with reading bed time stories to the little kids instead of movie night.”
“That's sweet.”
“I guess but hey can I help you with painting your door? Have you seen mine?”
“I haven't seen your's but of course you can help just no one else k?”
“K!”
After breakfast she leads me up to the 3rd story in the building and went to number 45.
“TA DA!” Jemma does jazz hands beside the door.
“It's amazing!” I told her. It truly was. It could have been a picture of Jemma and her parents in a garden at night but somehow I think she made it up.
“These are your parents right?” I asked her.
“Yup and do you see the glittery stuff here? And here?” She pointed them out beside her parents.
“Those are wings. I pictured them as angels when painting this.” That comment bought tears to my eyes.
“It's pretty.”
“Shall we start on your's now or later?”
“Now! I have the paints and brushes downstairs right now.”
“Cool lets go!”

Around 5 hours later we were done with the door. Inspired by Jemma's angels I did a dark gradient background with 2 angels looking like my mum and dad holding up a floating 'Lola' Painted with pearly white paint. I love it.
“It beautiful. But I hope Lily saved us something to eat or I might just starve!” Jemma and I were just going down the hall to the kitchen when there was a knock at the door.
“I'll get it!” Jemma yelled up to Mrs Green who replied with an “Ok”
Jemma and I went to the door, opened it and found a fresh and perky Felix on the step.
“Hey guys! Hey Lola!” Felix came inside and threw his stuff down in the room across from mine.
“It's good to be home!”
“Home? Really Felix you were at the hospital for 1 night!”
“Oh yeah. I was thinking about when I was bought here first. Who yelled out 'He's HOT'?” Felix looked at us with a confused expression.
“Um. You might have had a concussion so I think you just imagined it” I told him quickly.
“Oh. Ok” Now he looked sheepish.
“Have you eaten lunch yet?” Jemma asked him.
“Nope! I was hoping I could find something in the kitchen. . .” He said.
“Great! We were too. We just finished Lola's door. See!” Jemma pointed to my door. Felix looked at it in amazement.
“Wow! That's so cool. I still haven't had time to do my door. Could you help me with mine sometime?” Felix turned to me.
“Sure we can!” I grabbed Jemma and we went down the hallway to the kitchen, Felix coming along behind.
“So you only just got here?” Felix asked me.
