“Wake up honey”

“No mum 5 more minutes. Wait what!” I sat up in bed and looked at Rosa.

“Breakfast is in the hall at 8 then I'll take you to school.”

“Oh it's ok is there a bus from here?”

“No honey no buses come around the police station in case anyone tries to escape!” then she looked at my face and went quiet.

“I'll se you down at breakfast in half an hour” She reminds me and left.

I walk over to the bathroom and have a shower quickly, pulling up my wet hair into a plait. Pulling on my favourite purple t-shirt and shorts I slip into my gold supras and find my way downstairs.

Looking over the sea of heads in the hall I look at the many sane charges before heading over to the buffet table. Someones gone a bit crazy with the porridge and it's everywhere. I just slide a piece of over cooked toast on my plate and find one of those tiny packets of butter before finding a seat away from everyone else in the corner. Seconds later someone slips into the seat next to me, I don't even look at them before a young girl speaks.

“Hi” I look up from my breakfast to see a girl around my age with purple streaked hair digging into what looks like wheat bix covered in brown sugar.

“Hey” I reply.

“So why are you in here?” She asks curiously.

“I've been an orphan for 4 years and no one knew, they just found me” I tell her.

“That's so much like why i'm here, but I was orphaned for 2 days and then went on an illegal drinking spree with my mom's card and they found me in the gutter yesterday morning surrounded by beer bottles!” She laughed and then I started laughing and then people started staring which made Rosa come over and tell us off.

“Georgie I see you've met Lola” Rosa looked happy when she said that.

“But not too much laughing your all people can hear right now” Then she turns around and walks back to the officers table.

“So I take your called Lola!”

“And I take it your called Georgie!”

“You know we look a lot like each other”

“Apart from the purple streaks and your american accent I suppose yeah”

“ But we could use our look a likes to our advantage”

“But Rosa can see the difference between us”

“Only because she saw you this morning in those clothes”

“But still. . .”

“Come with me!” Georgie held out her hand to me and I grabbed it. She lead me along to what I presumed is her bedroom and sat me down in a chair.

“So you really want to look like me?”

“Sure I guess”

“Great! Lets get started”

And in no time at all I had purple streaks through my hair and I was dressed in the exact same clothes as her. She is really good at make up too.

“Well this is going to be fun. . .” Georgie rubbed her hands together like a mad person, then she saw my face and laughed.

“Don't worry i'm not mental, i've just got a twisted sense of humor.”

“Which school do you go to?” I change the subject.
