I couldn't hear anything for a second. My vision went blurry and all I could hear was a dull beep in my ears until sound brang me back to my senses.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Georgie screamed in agony and fell to the floor. Ive never seen her in so much pain. Kids were yelling at the parents. Jemma was cussing at them and the little ones were crying. Felix had his head in his hands, Jake's eyes were filling up with tears and I was standing in the midst of it all. Not moving, not making a sound and looking at the parents who were looking around in bewilderment at the chaos. I was looking over at them with a look that clearly stated 'This is why I can't leave'.
Mrs Green was soon bringing Lily and the other helpers there as they went around the kids trying to shut them up. The little ones soon quieted down and the younger teens were lead out of the room, Jemma spitting at the parents on her way out. But no one could control Georgie. Tears were cascading down her cheeks, her hands caught up in her hair and she was cussing and swearing and she looked like she was having a fit. I ran over to her.
"Georgie" I held her head and made her look at me. She trembled and looking back down.
"Georgie" I shook her a bit and she continued to cry and sob and shake all over.
"GEORGIE!" I screamed. She then stopped crying and looked up at me.
"You can't leave me" She trembled. I quickly remembered something.
"You don't know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice" I quoted. She looked up at me, mascara and tears leaving tracks down her face, her eyes red.
"You are the strongest girl I know Georgie. You can do this with or without me" I told her. She stopped trembling and sat quietly.
"I can't do this without you. Neither can the others, did you see their reaction?" Georgie whispered. I looked around and realized that we were the only two in the room now.
"You'll survive. I'll visit every weekend." I told her. She nodded then her eyebrows furrowed in thought.
"What about Felix?" My heart dropped at the question. I have to find him soon and talk to him about this. I looked down at my bracelet he gave me ages ago. I wear it everyday and never take it off. I've been working with him at the cafe some days and going to school the next.
"I'll talk to him too" I told her. We stood up.
"I'll start you'r packing. You go talk to Felix" She told me. She walked out of the rom slowly. I ran out after her.
Going down the hall I stop when I see the parents talking to Mrs Green at the front door. They stopped talking when the saw me.
"We were just saying we'll let you pack and we'll pick you up tomorrow" Lottie said. She and her husband left leaving me there.
"Lola- " Mrs Green began.
"I don't want to talk about it." I spy Felix's room and quietly knock on his door. He opens it and pulls me in. The second he looks at my face his lips come crashing down on mine in a heated kiss. It went on for ages till we split apart, out of breath.
"Don't leave me" He says. We both sit on the bed, his hand trails down my arm to the bracelet. He smiles when he sees it. I smile too.
"I have no choice but to leave you" I told him, tears threatning to fall. I look up into his sparking hazel eyes and know I could never forget him. I just remebered.
"This is for you" I handed him the parcel I finished last month. In school I was there the day we made jewelery in hard technology, a class I loved. I was going to give it to him on his birthday in two months but the time seemed right to give it to him now.
He opened it. And gazed at it. I moulded rose gold into a simple ring shape and hung it on a chain. It took me ages and ages to engrave a simple message into it.
I love you Felix
I couldn't fit anything else onto it as my engraving skills need to be improved.
"Can I take off the chain?" He asked. I nodded.
"You can have it with or without the chain. I just didn't want to lose the chain before giving it to you" I told him as he slipped the ring on his middle finger.
"I love it" He turned to me.
"And I love you too" I smiled at him as we savoured these moments together. When it was dinner time we walked in together. Georgie smiled up at me as I sat down next to her. No one talked about when I was leaving or anything about the events this afternoon. Until Georgie spoke up.
"What time tomorrow?" She turned to me as the table went silent as all eyes were on me. I shrugged.
"I don't know. I just know It's not today" I told her and ate my chicken sandwich. The converstations re appeared as the table becomes noisey once more.

After dinner Georgie helped me with the packing of my bag and such. I was in the middle of talking down the photos on my walls when I had an idea. Georgie left my room to give me some space which I thanked her for as I got out a refill pad and my pen as I started writing letters. . .
