Waiting For a Call

I woke up the next morning and Josh still hadn't called. Maybe he's one of those guys who asks every girl for her number, kind of makes me regret drawing a heart on the napkin I gave him. Trying to forget about him I out the radio on and jumped in the shower. On the radio they announced they would be having Union J on there soon, I had never heard of them I don't often listen to the radio, I prefer to listen to my own albums. At least I know I will like the music that way. I came out of the shower and the radio DJ said

"And know we have George, Jaymi, JJ and Josh joining us to talk about their new album"

I turned around to face my radio so fast like it was actually talking to me, I couldn't believe the boy I gave my number to was on the radio, talking about his album with Union J. I felt so embarrassed, I didn't know who they were yesterday they must have though I was such an idiot. But why would he have asked for my number.

"So boys, spill all the gossip, are any of you in a relationship?" Said the DJ

"Well you know me and Olly are, we're getting married in December!" Said Jaymi extremely excited.

"And I'm with Cat obviously" Said JJ

"Me and Josh are definitely single though!" Said George

"Um speak for yourself George! I have someone in mind, which reminds me, I need to call her"

I could hear my phone ringing on my bed, I leaped for it and ended up falling on the floor. I answered the phone and it was Josh,

"Hello, Cady? Is that you?"

"Um...yes, it is"

"How would you like to go out with me sometime?"

"Um, sure, sounds great"

I cant believe it he just asked me out on a date live on the radio. What was he thinking? I went downstairs to grab a drink. I couldn't breath, I was in utter shock. I decided to text him. I said 'You shouldn't have done that live on the radio, all of the fans are going to leave angry messages and stuff, if you were going to call me, you should have done it in private x' At least it was Saturday, it was my day off so I could just chill with some movies and popcorn. I messaged my friend Taylor to see if she wanted to come round for a bit. She said she couldn't because she was too busy with her boyfriend Jason. My phone buzzed and it was Josh he said 'I don't care about the messages from the fans, I love you, I would rather them find out this way than from the paparazzi and risk you getting hurt x'

I am so happy she said yes to a date. I cant stop smiling. I think I made her a bit uncomfortable though, she didn't sound too happy. If the paparazzi find out who she is, she will get hurt, oh my god I feel so bad, why did I have to be so stupid.
