A Doctors Appointment

*12 hours later (3:30am)*

-Cady-

I had been tossing and turning in my sleep all night. I had to go get some air. I shuffled out of the bedroom door trying not to wake Josh. I saw the fruit bowl in the kitchen and I grabbed an orange, I had been craving one all day yesterday. I walked out the front door and sat on the wall to eat my orange. I finished it quickly just in case Josh woke up. I got back into bed with Josh, he was still sound asleep, he was so cute. I struggled to get back to sleep, but I eventually did.

*six hours later*

I had set my alarm for half past nine so that would give me two hours to get ready for my day with the girls. It woke up Josh too, but he just rolled over and went back to sleep. I pulled out all my clothes and after trying a few combinations I finally found an outfit that looked half decent. I suddenly started to feel really sick so I rushed to the bathroom.

-Josh-

After Cady's alarm went off I just rolled over to go back to sleep. But I could hear her run into the bathroom and then the sound of her being sick. I immediately got up out of bed and opened the bathroom door. Yep she was being sick. I held her hair back for her and stroked her back, trying to calm her down a little. She eventually sat down in front of me on the bathroom tiles.

"Cady you cant go out like this, I will get you a doctors appointment for later"

"No Josh, I promised the girls we would go shopping"

"You cant when you feel like this, let me text you for them" She passed me her phone and I text the girls

'Hiya girls, I have got a doctors appointment later so wont be able to make our shopping trip. How about you come over mine for about eight and we will have a girly night in. Movies and popcorn, the whole lot. :)'

"Done, I just need to ring the clinic and get you an appointment, I will come with you"

"Thankyou" I carried Cady back into bed, she looked really pale so I said she could get some rest. I went downstairs and made an appointment with the doctor for 4 o clock. Cady could sleep for a few hours while I went shopping to get food for the week. I came back at about twelve and Cady was still asleep. I had two hours until I would have to wake her up as we would leave the house at three. I decided to make us lunch, lasagne, one of Cady's favourites.

I walked upstairs with the lasagne and two bowls. I laid the try on the desk and woke up Cady. She sat up, still looking extremely pale. I passed her a bowl with a good helping of lasagne and sat beside her with mine. By twenty past three we had both finished so we got ready to go to the doctors. I hated seeing Cady like this, but she seemed fine in herself, she just didn't look it on the outside.

We got to the doctors and he could see us straight away,

"Do you want me to come in with you babe?"

"No I am okay"

"Are you sure?"

"Positive" She gave me a kiss on the cheek and followed the receptionist through a corridor to the doctors room. I waited anxiously, I knew it was probably nothing. But she was in there a long time.

I followed the receptionist through to the doctors office,

"Hello there, you must be Cady, I am Doctor Jones. I understand you have been feeling a bit odd lately, and have had sickness"

"Yes that's right"

"Could you lie down on that bench over there please" I walked over to the bench and lay down.
