-Josh-

The next morning I woke up to the sound of an unimpressed nurse fake coughing. Cady didn't hear so I shifted over to climb off the bed, trying not to wake her up.

"Sorry" I said to the nurse

"Yes well Cady needs to go for some tests when she wakes up, just to make sure she is recovering okay"

"Okay, I will tell her"

The nurse left the room and Cady started mumbling, she must have heard the door shut. Not that the nurse did much to stop it banging.

"Josh who were you talking to?"

"The nurse, I know you don't want to, but you have to go for some tests"

"Ugh, why"

"Because you are ill and I don't want anything to happen to you"

"Fine, well I will go for you"

Cady swung her legs over the side of the bed and kissed me lightly on the cheek.

"How is your side?"

"A lot better actually, I feel much better"

"That is brilliant"

"So where do I need to go for these tests?"

"Oh um"

"Do I have to go and ask by any chance?"

"Hey this isn't my fault, the stupid nurse didn't tell me"

"Okay, whatever you say"

Cady took my hand and dragged me to the ward office.

"Excuse me where do I need to go for these tests?"

"Name please?"

"Cady Cuthbert"

"Okay, you need to go down the hall, third door on your left"

"Thankyou"

Cady looked up and smiled at me

"Whatever they say Josh, I am going to be fine"

"I know" I kissed her and then we walked through to the room

"Hello you two, we are just going to check to see if you are recovering okay"

"Okay"

"Go and sit on that bed we are just going to do a quick scan of your stomach to see if the surgery was successful"

Cady went to lie on the bed as I sat on the chair beside it. The doctor took the scan results and sat down at his computer.

"Well everything looks okay here, are you feeling alright?"

"I am feeling great actually."

"Well it seems like you may be able to go home later on today, I just need to check with my colleagues"

"Really? That's fantastic" I wasn't expecting the doctor to say that so I was extremely relieved.

The doctor left the room and Cady jumped up to hug me.

"Well I wasn't expecting that" Cady whispered in my ear. The doctor from theatre walked through the doors.

"Right Cady, you are free to pack your bags and go home, everything seems fine, but if you do start to feel any pain you need to go back to the clinic"

"Okay"

Me and Cady ran back into the hospital room. I shut the door and Cady leaped into my arms and kissed me hard on the lips.

"We had better get going then" I spoke between kissing.

"Well luckily we haven't unpacked any bags yet, so we can go straight home" I text the boys to let them know

'Hi boys, Cady has been let out from hospital early, meet us at our place in half an hour (There is a spare key under the plant pot by the door) I want to surprise her! And bring Taylor, Cat and Olly'

I carried our bags to the car and put them in the boot whilst Cady climbed into the passenger seat. As we pulled up to our house I could see Jaymi's car parked around the corner so Cady wouldn't see it. Cady rushed to the door so I ran in front of her to stop her going in. As I unlocked the door I could hear shuffling inside. I grabbed Cady's hand and we went into the living room, Cady flicked on the lights and our best friends popped up from nowhere

"SURPRISE"
