Time To Tell Them

-Cady-

For some reason Josh and I forgot to go to bed last night, meaning we woke up snuggled on our garden bench. It was freezing. I snuggled closer into Josh to try and keep warm. I didn't want to get up but as I checked my phone it was 11 o clock, I had an hour to get ready to go to the doctors. Josh's grip around me tightened I didn't want to wake him up but that was the only way he would let me go.

"Josh?"

"Mmmm?"

"I need to get ready to go to the doctors"

"Okay babe, I need to get ready too"

"You don't have to come"

"Yes I do"

I couldn't be bothered to argue with him so I just dragged myself up to our bedroom to get dressed. Josh couldn't stop yawning,

"Babe if you are tired go back to sleep, I will be fine"

"No Cady I am coming with you"

I put on a pair of leggings with my superdry t-shirt. Josh wore his black jeans and his white t-shirt. While I waited for him to style his quiff I grabbed my bag and stuffed everything in there. I went downstairs and made myself a smoothie to take with me. As Josh stumbled down the stairs I threw him his coat and walked to the car. As I sipped my smoothie Josh asked me,

"What the hell is in that?"

"All the fruit that we had in the house"

"Oh let me try"

He took the smoothie off me and tried it, I think he liked it because he downed it. Every single drop.

"Josh!"

"Sorry babe, I was thirsty"

"Why do you think I made it! I was thirsty too"

"Sorryyyyyyy, but lets go to the clinic now aye?"

"I suppose"

We drove pretty much in silence. I cant deny I was petrified. As we pulled up outside the clinic, my heart started beating faster. Josh opened the car door for me and held my hand as we walked through the door. The receptionist asked us for our details and let us wait in the room around the corner, so we had some privacy. I sat down and fiddled with my hands, tapping my foot. I was trying to distract myself but it wasn't working. Doctor Jones came out of his room and told us to go inside.

-Josh-

I could tell Cady was petrified she couldn't sit still. Doctor Jones told us to go inside his room.

"So what is going on you two" He looked at Cady but she looked at me, unable to speak properly.

"C-Cady is pregnant again"

"Oh, that is fantastic"

"We just wanted to ask you how we can prevent what happened last time from happening again"

"Well, we can do more frequent scans so we can spot any problems before something happens"

"Okay, so how frequent would they be?"

"Every 5 days or so"

I looked at Cady who seemed to look petrified. She looked back at me and I knew exactly what she meant,

"Um, how much of a chance do we have that this happens again?"

"There is about a 40 percent chance this happens again, but we will do everything we can to stop it"

"So what happens now?"

"We are going to do a scan, and then we will do a prescription for any medication that you need, if any"

"Right okay"

"And then the nurse will sort out a scan rota for you" The doctor walked around the room to get all of his equipment while I wound my fingers around Cady's hand. She was shaking so much so I squeezed her hand and she looked up at me so I gave her a reassuring smile which seemed to calm her down a bit. As the doctor scanned her stomach he smiled at the monitor infront of him.

"Well it looks like you are going to have a baby, it is perfectly healthy and we shouldn't have any problems"

I jumped up in the air and pulled Cady up with me.

"Thankyou so much"

"That's alright! See you in five days"

Me and Cady left the room and as soon as we did so I gave her a big bear hug. She looked up at me,

"I think we should tell the guys" She said, I was utterly shocked that was the first thing she said to me

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, before they find out from the press"

"Okay, I can ask them to meet us at costa?"

"Okay"

I text the boys,

'Hi everybody! Me and Cady have some news, do you feel like meeting us in costa in twenty minutes?'

They all quickly replied so me and Cady headed straight for costa. As we stepped out of the car Cady held my hand tighter than she had ever done before. I knew she was nervous, she didn't want to lose any more of her friends.

"Cady, don't worry, they will all support us I promise"

As we walked in the three boys were sat in a booth in the corner of the café. I slid into the seat and Cady sat next to me.

"Hi guys! Have you ordered the drinks?"

"Yep, our favourites" George smiled at us both but Cady was looking down at her hands.

"So what is this big news?" Jaymi asked with wide eyes, I looked at Cady and she looked at me as if she was about to cry.

"W-well..."

"Well what?" JJ looked like he was about to pee himself with excitement.

"Cady is pregnant again"

All three of them including George leapt over the table to hug us. I was so relieved and I could feel Cady pull her hand away from mine to give George the biggest hug in the world. It was the first time I had seen her smile since we got to the clinic.

-Cady-

When we told the boys our news I was relieved with their reactions, especially George's I gave him a hug and whispered in his ear,

"Thankyou George"

"For what monkey?"

"Everything"

He kissed me on the cheek, in a friendly way obviously and we returned to our normal seats. Our drinks soon came, the boys ordered me a smoothie which I was extremely pleased about seeing as I missed out on mine this morning. I took a sip and glared at Josh, he new exactly what I meant as he started laughing and spat out all of his coffee and losing his grip on the mug, the coffee went everywhere including onto George and Jaymi might I add. Myself and JJ started peeing ourselves, we couldn't contain it. Josh looked so scared at what George and Jaymi might do to him,

"I am so sorry guys"

"Yeah, you should be, this is a brand new top" Jaymi looked so angry, George just sat there pulling a face at his top which was now soaked in Josh's coffee. Josh stared at me giving me a signal to stop laughing. I tried to stop, but I just couldn't it was hilarious. JJ was now on the floor of costa, and he was in no position to stop laughing either.

Eventually we had all calmed down and paid the bill. We walked towards our cars to say goodbye, a weight had been lifted now we had told them.
