Everything Is Going Smoothly

*Five months later*

-Cady-

Me and Josh had finished decorating the baby room last night, and ended up falling asleep in there. I woke up and Josh was still asleep, but he was still cradling my stomach with his hands. I smiled to myself and kissed him on the cheek in an attempt to wake him up. Today was the day when we would find out if this little baby was a boy, or a girl. The boys and Cat and Olly were coming with us, they insisted. I shuffled out of Josh's arms and went to our bedroom to get dressed. I ran to the bathroom, I had got used to the morning sickness now, but Josh still always sat beside me. As I walked back out into our room I pulled on my coral jumper and my leggings and went downstairs to make a smoothie. I had been craving these smoothies ever since we found out I was pregnant so Josh decided to buy a load of fruit. I waited for Josh sat on the wall outside, sipping my smoothie. We still had ten minutes before we had to leave to pick up Cat and JJ so Josh sat next to me.

"Josh, do you have any baby name ideas?"

"Nope, my Mum told me that normally the name comes to you when you hold the baby in your arms for the first time"

I have to admit, that was one of the cutest things Josh had ever said. Josh stood up and stepped infront of me, he kissed me on the cheek and then knelt down. He placed his hands on my baby bump, which was now quite big. He kissed it gently and then whispered,

"I cant wait to meet you! Whether you are a boy or a girl I promise to spend loads of time with you, I love you!"

As Josh stood up I pulled his neck so that I could place my lips onto his. As I pulled away out of breath Josh looked down at me with a confused expression on his face

"What was that for?"

"Your perfect, do you know that"

"Yup, I know that, now lets go get Cat and JJ"

We got in the car and made our way to Cat and JJ's apartment. Jaymi, George and Olly were meeting us at the clinic. Josh held my hand the whole way, rubbing patterns on my knuckles with his thumb. We got to JJ and Cat's and we got out of the car to greet them. We had a group hug and got back into the car, I couldn't stop smiling.

As we arrived at the clinic Cady gave me a kiss, she was so excited it was adorable. We walked into the foyer and the rest of the guys ran up to hug us. We all waited with smiles on our faces until our name was called from one of the nurses. We left the other guys and walked into the room the nurse lead us to. Doctor Jones was waiting for us and told Cady to lie on the bed. He lined up the monitor so we could all see it and placed the sensor on her stomach. The picture of our baby showed up on the screen and I could feel Cady squeeze my hand. It was beautiful.

"Well your baby is very healthy, I am just going to get the nurse to bring the results from the test you had the other week"

 The doctor returned with his clipboard. I was now sat next to Cady with her hand in mine.

"So would you like to know what gender the baby is? Or do you want to wait?"

We looked at eachother to make sure we both wanted the same thing

"We would like to know please"

"Okay then, you are having a baby boy!"

I had always wanted a little son that I could take to football practice, and walk to school every morning. We would watch all the super hero films together him constantly asking me questions. I knew Cady secretly wanted a little boy too, it was what we were hoping for.

-Cady-

We were having a baby boy! Even though I didn't tell Josh, I had secretly been hoping for a boy. Watching Josh play football with him, him playing superheroes with all of his friends and having to cope with the constant mess. We both left the room and met with the guys who stood up with anticipation plastered on their faces.

"We are having a boy!"

We all had a group hug again, jumping up and down with pure excitement. Four months until this beautiful baby boy was born and me and Josh could hold him in our arms. Me and Josh had been discussing a few things and we had come to a decision on something very important,

"Guys, seeing as we have too many friends, we want you all to be the godparents"

"Oh my god really?" Cat said clapping her hands and bopping up and down on the spot.

"I mean I know we are fabulous, but this is just something else" Jaymi said fanning his face starting to well up with tears.

"Thank you so much guys" Olly said

"I love you guys" JJ said

"Be prepared for me to take him to the zoo to see the monkeys" George said with the biggest grin on his face.

-Josh-

Me and Cady decided that all of them would be godparents, we couldn't decide on anything else. I was so relieved when they all agreed with it. I was just worried that George might want to keep the baby as his little monkey. There was no way that would happen! There was only four months left until our baby would be born. Four months.
