Please Don't Go

Hate // Chapter 9

Ever since Phil and I had come out about two months ago, we've been getting so much hate.

Daily, we'll be walking around and people will tell us about how disgusting we are.

I don't understand.

If you love someone, shouldn't you be able to love them without being hated?

A lot of peoole, though, have been very supportive and are telling us that they're happy and excited to see us start a family in the future.

Those people make me smile.

If only those people could overtake the ones that tell me to kill myself and that I'm worthless. These people get to my brain.

Phil is stronger, though, and I'm proud of how he's taking it. But, it is now the morning of a nightmare filled sleep, so while I don't want to leave Phil's arms,  there are things to be done.

I wake up in Phil's arms around 9:15 AM. I carefully leave him, trying not to wake him, but as soon as my warmth leaves, I hear a husky voice groan.

"Dan," it says. "Come back to bed,"

"Lion, it's after 9:00. I think its time to get up," I reply, facing my fiance.

"But it's warm," Phil protests. I look over and see that his adorable face in buried in blankets and pillows.

"You are such a four year old," I say as I crawl back under the covers and into Phil's arms.

"Four year olds always get their way, though," Phil giggled, cozying up to me. We cuddled for about fifteen minutes before I got a text message. I picked up my phone with Phil looking over my shoulder.

"What is it?" Phil asked curiously.
"I don't know," I said quietly, unlocking my phone and looking at the message.

"Kill yourself you dumb faggot your just wasted space," I read out loud. Phil's hand went up to his mouth as be gasped. I silently typed the following message: You're*

Phil laughed a little bit at my  response, but stroked my hair for comfort.

"Don't pay attention to them, Dan," Phil said to me.

Too late.

I started crying into Phil's chest as he held me tight, letting me cry and cry and cry.

What did I do to deserve Phil Lester, the most perfect person ever, to not only come into my life, but to marry me as well?
