Phil turns the key in the lock and turns the door handle, opening the door.
"Philip! Its so good to see you!" Phil's mum cries, pulling Phil into a hug and kissing his cheek.
"Its good to see you, too," Phil says, returning the hug, kissing his mums forehead.
"You too, Dan!" Phil's mum pulls me into a hug as well, patting my back.
"How are you both?" Phil's mum asks, motioning for us to take a seat on the couch. We do, and she takes a dear on the couch parallel to us.
"We're good, mum. We've come here to tell you some important news, though, actually," Phil says. His mum has a look of confusion on her face.
"What is it?" she asks nervously. I take Phil's hand in mine before looking back at Phil's mum.
"We're getting married!" I blurt out excitedly.
"Wait, what?" Phil's mom looks at us in disbelief. Phil holds up our hands to show our engagement rings.
"Dan proposed to me last night," Phil said. His mum had a moment before breaking into a huge smile, tears rolling from her face.
"I'm so happy for you!" she exclaimed, jumping off of the sofa to take us both in a big hug.
"Thank you," Phil and I say, a few tears rolling down my cheeks as well.
"Let me see the rings!" Phil's mum breaks the hug, holding Phil's hand up. She sees his ring.
"Its beautiful," she gasps, taking mine after and examining it.
"They're both wonderful," Phil's mum states, beaming.
"Thanks," Phil and I say in unison, intertwining our fingers into each others.
"When is the wedding?" Phil's mum asks, beaming.
"We haven't figured any of that out, yet," Phil admits, shaking his head. I rub his back. He smiles at me.
"If you need any help at all, don't be scared to come to me and ask," Phil's mum replies, moving back to the other couch. "Now, would you boys like some cookies? I made some right before you came, so they're fresh."
"Yes please!" Phil and said in unison, jumping up like we were six again. Phil's mum chuckled, handing us each a cookie. We nibbled on while she made tea.
We sipped our tea and nibbled on cookies (like proper Brutish people), discussing our dream weddings. I didn't have a dream wedding; I only had a dream man, and I'm already marrying him, so I don't care what the wedding is gonna be like.
We left to our flat about an hour and a half later. We called my mum and told her the news. We Skyped her, and after forty-five minutes or so of her squealing in excitement, we decided to call the pizza place for dinner.
We order and then sniggle on the couch while eating, watching Wall-E. My head is on Phil's shoulder and my arms around his waist; his arms around my upper chest.
"I love you," I say out of nowhere, swiftly kissing his neck. Its a quick peck, and the only reason I placed it on his neck is because I was too lazy to lean up and kiss his beautiful lips.
"I love you, too," Phil says back, leaning down to kiss my forehead.
"I can't believe we're getting fucking married," I stated. I still just can't believe that I'm cuddling with my fiance.
"It's crazy, isn't it?" Phil replied, shaking his head.
"Yeah. Should we tell the fans?" I asked. The question had been biting at my ankles.
"Yeah, we need to tell them. I want to be able to be public with you and not have to struggle to hide it, if that's okay with you, of course," Phil said, looking down at my level.
"I agree with every word you just said," I agreed, looking up to him. He's so beautiful.
"When?" Phil questioned, snapping me out of my heart eyes.
"I don't know," I stated simply.
"Let's do it right now. Then we can edit and upload as we sleep," my fiance suggested.
"Let's go! I'll get the camera and the tripod," I jumped up, getting the equipment.
"Let's film in my room!" Phil called, heading to his room.
"Okay!" I called back, taking the lights, tripod, and camera into Phil's room. He's sat on the bed, his glasses on his face, hair slightly messed up.
"Wait, wait, wait, Phil, your hair," I say walking over and fixing his hair with my hands. He looks up and me with love eyes.
"Thanks, love," Phil says, smiling.
"Mhm," I reply, counting down on my fingers until I start rolling the camera.
"Hey guys! So, today, I have something serious to talk about," Phil says, making a funny serious face. I laugh behind the camera and Phil pouts at me. "Dan! I was gonna have you jump out or something!"
"Sorry!" I blush, laughing. "Let's try again," I say, sitting next to him for a moment. He nods, but then leans over and kisses me passionately.
"Ready?"
That's all I want to be in this exact moment. I want to feel all of those good feeling wash over me.
Goodness.
Readiness.
Wellness, most of all.
