"What do you wanna wear?" Phil asked me. We're sitting on the couch planning our wedding.

"I dunno. What about you?" I shrug my shoulders.

"No clue," Phil laughs.

"You have a really cute laugh. You know that?" I smile. Phil just blushes and giggles.

"Shut up..." Phil giggles again. I just sit it admiration as Phil keeps being fucking Phil.

"Um, so what's next on the wedding checklist?" I ask, leaning on Phil's shoulder to read his computer over his shoulder.

"Um, cake!" Phil exclaimed excitedly.

"Do you have a preference?" I asked, knowing that that Phil would want some exotic weird ass flavor. I just want chocolate to be honest.

"Mm, we could do banana cake... No, too bready. What about strawberry? No, too tropical," Phil continued to list off flavors and then immediately shoot them down.
"Well, we could do... Wait, what do you want, Dan?"

"Ha, asking me now? I just prefer chocolate." I laughed, looking Phil in the eyes.

"Me too, honestly. Wait wait wait we could do like a layer of white chocolate cake," Phil said, using inappropriate hand motions, "then a layer of normal chocolate cake, then-"

"A layer of dark chocolate cake!" I finished his sentence, kissing his cheek. "Phil Lester, you're a genius." I quoted the iconic phrase that everyone was freaking out about in 2016.

Phil just smiled with his tongue and typed it into his Macbook.

"We could just wear our snazziest tuxes," I suggested, "with pretty flowers in the pockets."

"Thats a great idea. Also, we have to pick food." Phil piped, looking over at me.

"Can't we just leave that to the caterers?" I whined, not really wanting to have to choose what food.

"Yeah, I guess we could," Phil shrugged, typing it down.

"You can pick stuff if you want, I just don't really care." I replied.

"I'm the same way." Phil agreed.

"Just let me know if you change your mind."

"Okay mum."

"Ooh what cake topper?" I jolt up, tons of ideas running through my head.

"We could do you and I," Phil suggested.

"Yeah, but wouldnt that be boring?" I pushed, wanting to do something symbolic of our relationship. No, not like our fringes or any of our branding, I want something that means something. Like the Manchester Eye or the date that we first started talking on the Internet. I really do want it to be special.

"Yeah, but traditional," Phil argued.

"Let's do the topper another day. Whatddya say?" I asked, standing up.

"Agreed." Phil joins me in standing and goes up to his — our — room and puts his Macbook away.

"So, Phil, would you like to go on a picnic with me?" I asked, wanting to go out.

"Um, sure?" Phil looked confused, but obliged.

"Great! Get your shoes on then!" I rushed to my room to change real quick.

I put on some black skinny jeans and a light blue sweater, considering its still march and cold outside (yeah idk where i was in terms of the month so we're just going to be in march). I put my shoes on and slipped my phone and wallet into my pocket.

"Ready?" I asked Phil.

"Yeah, let's go," Phil grinned, taking my hand in his. I squeezed his hand and we walked out the door.

God, he makes me so happy.

I'm glad that I know him.

So, so very glad.
