"So, what's next?" I asked Phil.
"We should figure out where we want to have our wedding," Phil said. I nodded in agreement.
"Where do you want to get married?" I questioned.
"A church, traditionally. I want to get married somewhere completely different, though," Phil imagined. I smiled at his thinking.
"Where were you thinking then?" I giggled.
"I don't know. Maybe in a forest or a barn or something..." Phil trailed off in thought.
"We could convert that old barn in Manchester that we saw," I thought out loud.
"That's a great idea!" Phil exclaimed, grinning as if I had just asked him to marry me. He typed something in his computer quickly and then looked at me.
"What's next?"
"Well, to people invite."
"Okay. So definetly both our families, do you want a smaller wedding or-"
"I'd prefer a smaller wedding," I said shyly.
"Oh thank god. I don't like that many people. Okay, so our close families, who else?" Phil typed.
"PJ, Chris, we should invite..." I then listed of some of our closest friends, Phil typing every name.
"That sounds good. We should do flowers next. Let's do white and pastel pink roses and hydrangea," Phil stated as if he'd been thinking of it all his life.
"What the hell is a hydrangea?" I asked.
"Its just a really pretty blue flower," my fiancé stated simply.
"Oh. Okay. Cake?" I looked in his eyes.
"We should go cake testing... On... Tuesday." Phil nodded.
"Yeah," I agreed.
"I can't believe we're getting married," Phil said, shaking his head. I closed his laptop and put it to the side. I pulled him closer to me and basically on top of me. I kissed the top of his head.
"Me neither," I replied quietly. Phil turned around and kissed me ever so softly.
"I love you," he said to me, pulling away from the kiss and leaning his forehead against mine.
"I love you, too." I smiled, looking into his ocean eyes.
The same ocean eyes I'll be looking into when I walk down the aisle in a few months.
I can't wait.
