Chapter 16

Amethyst P.O.V

I giggles as Andrew spun me on the dance floor. We have been ‘dating’ for the past month and tonight he was taking me to his house after the party. I would finally be able to get the documents that had important information about some of the attacks he was leading.  Andrew was  second in command of his team of Hunters, and had a lot of important information. It was such a relief to realize what an idiot he was. With his wavy brown hair and hazel eyes, he was a sight for sore eyes. His muscles only added to the charm. I guess his looks is everything he had going for him since he had no brain. All he cared about was hurting innocent wolves and getting laid. If the information wasn’t so important to me, I would’ve broken his neck by now. Luckily,  he hadn’t pressured me into sleeping with him yet. He thought I was completely innocent and that I wanted my first time to be special. Like I said before, What. An. Idiot.

Liam had found out his identity four months ago. Since then, he did a lot of research on him such as his taste in women, places he likes to visit, etc.

As leader of the Assassins, I was going to infiltrate. First, I dyed my hair a dark blonde, put on dark blue contacts, and ‘moved in’ into the city he lived. Liam was able to get me a license, birth certificate, passport, and everything in between. I was now officially Bethany Waters, a twenty-one year old college dropout from California..

As soon as I moved into Andrew’s town, I got a job as a waitress and started hanging out with my coworkers. I needed to act like a normal human with a normal human life. To my friends and Andrew, I was your average twenty-one year old. I acted sweet and bubbly, which was hard considering how much I hated my ‘friends’. They thought I didn’t know that they talked trash about me behind my back or that they stole my tips. I also knew that at least half of them have slept with Andrew, my ‘boyfriend’.  As if I cared. It’s a good thing I was in a mission or they’d all be dead by now.

I ‘met’ Andrew a little over a month ago when I went clubbing with my ‘friends’. I knew he liked sweet innocent girls, so that’s who I pretended to be. I wore a revealing-yet-modest pink dress that went down to mid-thigh and had a sweetheart neckline. It made me look like a shy, innocent young girl, which was exactly who I was pretending to be.

I sat in a table drinking a soda when he walked in. I had to keep a clear mind and focus, so unfortunately, I couldn’t drink alcohol.

As soon as he saw me, he walked over. I pretended to blush and look away when our eyes met, which is what he wanted. From the corner of my eye, I saw him smirk and saunter over.

I pretended to listen and blush as he complimented me and giggled when he said a joke.

Two weeks later, we were officially a ‘couple’.

As soon as Andrew went to the bathroom, I slipped a special drug into his drink. It was specially made by some of the doctors in Liam’s Pack. It was a new drug that would make Andrew unconscious and delirious. He would wake up tomorrow with a hangover and no memory of what happened tonight.

I quickly helped him into his car and drove to his apartment. Thankfully, he had brought me here before so he wouldn’t be suspicious when I brought him over. As soon as I opened the door, I quickly took his clothes off and put him in his bed. Then I quickly went to his office and went to the not-so-secret drawer on his desk. I used the keys I grabbed from his pocket and quickly opened it. I took out my I-Phone and quickly took pictures of every document in the drawer. I made sure to get every angle possible.
