"Mike! Finally!" Cindy and Caesar embraced happily, swaying a bit as they held eachother. Then pulled away at the same time.

"Flight was hell..." Caesar chuckled and picked up his bags again.

Cindy rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips. "Nigga when is first class ever hell?"

"My neighbour. He just wouldn't shut. Up." Caesar yawned dramatically. "Didn't get a good night's rest."

"Well now you can. C'mon, imma show you to yo room." Cindy smiled at him and whirled around before walking up the slightly curved stairs. Caesar followed, slinging on bag over his shoulder. "Where's Riley?"

Cindy's mood seemed to change at the sound of his name. Caesar noticed this and frowned. "He just went out." She pulled some hair behind her ear and forces a smile. Eventually they got to one of the many guest rooms and Cindy opened the door.

It looked like a suite.

Caesar stepped in and grinned at the homey vibe he got. He settled his bags by the foot of the bed. "Now will you tell me what happened?"

Cindy's fake smile broke. She sighed. "You know me to well Caes...we need to spend less time together." Caesar only shrugged and beckoned her to tell the problem. "These, um, detectives came yesterday to interrogate us..." She leaned on the door frame and hugged herself. "We thought it was about Jasmine...but...they were asking questions about Huey."

Caesar blinked. "Our Huey?"

"A witness saw him...with Jasmine." Cindy sighed again. "They were so sure...he's around Caes."

Dumbfounded, Caesar slowly sat down on the edge of his mattress to compose himself. He leaned foward, covering his mouth with one hand and staring at the floor. He suddenly knew why Riley wasn't there, the news was probably still sinking in for him. I bet he's drinking his ass off, Caesar thought. But he understood, that was Riley's way of escaping. His own way was just shutting people out. The thought was swirling in his head.

His best friend was out there.

He was alive. But he wasn't communicating.

Why?

Not just that...but he was with Jasmine.

Caesar looked up at Cindy again, who was staring silently out the window. "What's Riley's favourite bar?"

The San Francisco police were stubborn as fuck.

An explosion on the near country side was reported. Wolf immediately thought of Jasmine and he knew that his gut feeling was correct. He and Ramsey needed a warrant to investigate the area, and since they weren't in their L.A zone, it was harder.

"This case belongs to my people," The head chief of the San Francisco police told them from across the table. "I don't see any way this explosion, to this million dollar mansion could be linked to Jasmine DuBois."

"I think it is," Wolf said coldly. "You're just afraid we'll find something you don't."

The chief glared at him. "Do you even know who that property belongs to?"

Wolf scowled.

"Millionaire Rocco Giovanni, has a wife and daughter. We always found him and his bars sketchy, also that he was infiliated with the mafia, we've been investigating him and his family for years. All of I sudden I see no reason why he'd kidnap a model."
