Percy's POV

"Good morning!" I said.

"Good morning..." Annabeth greeted me. "Um... Percy, where's Alex?"

"Cabin 13."

"Why is she at cabin 13?"

"How should I know...."

"How do you not know? She's your sister."

"She just said that she wanted to stay at cabin 13."

"Percy.... I know you're still mad at your dad, but don't take it out at your sister..."

"I am not taking it out her!" I said.

"Yes you are!"

"Am not."

"Are too!"

"Prove it!" I said.

"When Chiron asked you to train with her, you said you had business, and I know you don't. When she sits at the Poseidon table, you never talk to her. Every time she wants to hang out with you, you skip off to Camp Jupiter." Annabeth said.

"I didn't do that on purpose!"

"Percy...." She sat on my lap. "Tell me what's wrong..."

"I just-" I said. "After 7 years... I can't believe he'd hide something like that from me."

"Maybe he didn't hide it...."

"One of the things my dad is bad at is lying... I knew he was hiding it..."

"Well... Don't blame Alex for it..."

"Fine... The next time she wants to hang out, I'll go with it..." I said.

"Good... That's the seaweed brain I know..." She kissed me and got up. "Let's go."

We went to the mess hall and we saw Alex with Nico, laughing, joking around like best friends.

"Percy?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"Yup... He's smiling, laughing. Hell, he's joking around...." I said. "Did you know that I did that?"

"You did not!"

"I did... By not paying attention to Alex, she turns Nico."

"That is not something to be proud of!!" Annabeth yelled. "And you did not do that!!"

"Fine... Whatever..." I said.

I went to my table as Annabeth went to hers. I sat down and Alex came and sat.

"Hi!" She said.

"Hey." I greeted.

"Did you have a good night sleep?" She asked.

"Yeah..." I said. "Did you have fun?"

"What?"

"Staying with Nico, was it fun?"

"Yeah... He's nice, and fun..." She said.

"So......" I said. "I heard you're a good sword fighter... You trained with dad?"

"Your dad, Poseidon. Not mine, Neptune." She said.

"You wanna try and beat me?? I hold the title as best sword fighter after Luke, but of course, he died."

"Or so I've heard..." She smiled.

"So, battle arena? 3 PM?" I asked.

"I'll meet you there. And get your swords ready..."

"I heard you have an imperial gold sword?"

"Hey! You have yours, I have mine..." She said.

"Okay, okay." I raised my hands. "3 PM, don't chicken out." I said as I left.

"I won't!" She yelled.

Alex's POV

"What was that all about?" Nico asked.

"What was what?"

"You and Percy... What'd he say to you?"

"Oh, nothing... We're gonna have a duel this afternoon, 3 PM." I said.

"A sword fight?"

"Yeah!"

"Well be careful... He's the best sword fighter-"

"In the camp, I know, I've heard the stories."

"You mean the stories I told you..." He said.

"Yes.. He may be the best but he didn't train with a god!"

"But he fought the Titan lord..."

"Whatever... He's gonna lose..."

"Don't be so cocky..." He said.

"Hey! Calling people cocky, is very rude!"

"Says the conceited, arrogant, over-bearing girl....." He smiled. I laughed and hit him in the arm.

"So... How long are you gonna stay at my cabin?"

"Why?"

"Because, A, it's my cabin. B, I wanna know how long the daughter of Poseidon is going to stay at the Hades cabin."

"Daughter of Neptune."

"Well... You're staying at the Camp Half-Blood... The Greek camp..."

"Maybe 3 days... I still want my bedtime stories..." I teased.

"Since when am I your babysitter?!" He asked.

"Pleaseee....." I begged.

"I'm starting to hate that trick..." He scowled.

"That's because you can't say no, when I beg..." I said.

"Fine... 3 days only..." He said.

"Good.. Now, I wanna go train so I can beat Percy..."

"I thought you said you trained with your dad?!" He yelled.

"And he fought with the Titan lord!!" I yelled.

"Good luck!!"

"Thanks!"
