Nico's POV
"So the one time the spirit of Delphi decided to give the prophecy straight away, without tricks and folds, it tells us that 3 of us are going to die?!!!!" Percy yelled.
I need to be honest, he has a point. I don't know how he's feeling but it's gotta be pretty bad. His first prophecy tells him he's gonna die. He barely made it out alive, if it wasn't for the swim in river Styx and Annabeth. And then the second prophecy, says that at least one of the 7 are going to die. He made it through hell and out, so did I, but he barely made it out alive. Now another prophecy, most likely, 3 of the 6 demigods are going to die.
"Percy...." Annabeth tries to calm him.
"I just-" He groaned. He buried his face in his arms, on top of the table. Annabeth kissed him in the forehead and caressing his hair, patting his head, whispering to him, instantly calming him.
"I mean, it doesn't always means what it sounds like..." Chris said.
"Yeah, I mean like, the last time we thought you were gonna die, it didn't exactly happen." Clarisse said.
"But this one actually says that 3 of us are going to die." Connor said.
"Not helping!!" Piper yelled at him.
"Hey maybe it doesn't necessarily means you have to die." Frank said.
"Maybe, it could be like me?" Hazel said.
"Right. Go though death..." Thalia said.
"But technically speaking, you still died." Katie said.
"Just, don't mind that okay?" Annabeth said. Percy was looking devastated, like he was the one going to die.
"So..... Who's going?" Travis said.
"I am." Alex said.
"What?!" I said.
"No! You're not!" Percy said.
"Percy... You can't change the fact... I'm suppose to go, nothing you say or do can change that..." Alex said.
"You're not going on this quest, I won't let you." Percy said.
"You're not the boss of me!" Alex said.
"I am your older brother! And I'm not letting you go on this death quest!" Percy said.
"I don't care if it's a suicide mission! I'm done with listening to what other people tell me to do. It has gotten me absolutely nowhere!! I'm going." Alex said.
She stood up and walked out.
"Alex." I caught up to her.
"Just don't okay?! I'm going and don't even try to convince me not too." She said and left the big house. I walked back and sat down on my chair.
"The prophecy says 6 half-bloods, both Roman and Greek, of the eldest gods." Chiron said.
"I'm going." I told everyone.
"Yeah. Me too..." Hazel said.
"Obviously I'm suppose to go..." Thalia said.
"Don't forget me.." Jason said.
The room went silent. We were all just simply waiting for Percy to say that he's in.
"I'm going." Percy said.
"Before you guys go, we should probably know what we're up against?" Reyna said.
"A war caused by the night." Thalia said.
"The night?" Jason asked.
"Annabeth?" Percy asked.
"Night....." Annabeth answered.
"Is there something you'd like to say?" Chiron asked.
"Yeah... We might or might not have tricked Lady Night when we were in Tartarus and we were suppose to go through Mansion of Night, causing her kids to eventually fight and kill each other while we escaped to the Door of Death..." Percy said.
"You did what?!" Jason and I said together.
"Well, I'm not surprised..." Piper said.
"I mean, it's a typical Annabeth thing to do...." Frank said.
"And they meant that in a good way.." Hazel said and Annabeth smiled.
"So now what do we do?" Thalia asked.
"I think the prophecy made it clear what we should do..." Hazel said.
"We need to find peace..." Jason said.
"And how do we do that??" I said.
"Maybe you should find the Goddess of Peace... Eirene?" Annabeth said.
"Where is she?" Thalia asked.
"Well, she was believed to be living in the oldest olive tree on earth, in the island of Crete." Annabeth said.
"We have to go to Crete?!!" Jason said.
"No. When the gods moved from Greece to the Western civilization, she moved too. Now days, she lives in Chico, California." Chiron said.
"Why Chico?" Hazel said.
"California has one of the largest olive oil producer in the US and one of the biggest olive ranch is in Chico" Chiron said.
"So. We leave in 2 days?" I said.
"Sure." Percy said.
"So, Chico is approximately 177 miles from San Francisco, so I suggest we use the door way, and leave from Camp Jupiter." Thalia declared.
"How on earth do you know that?" I asked.
"Being a hunter of Artemis, I kinda got the astronomy gifts and that includes geography..." Thalia shrugged.
"So that settles it, we're leaving in 2 days, so that gives us enough time to gather everything for the quest and we'll exit from Camp Jupiter." Percy said.
"Well then... A quest for the 6." Chiron said and all of us left.
"Hey, Nico." Percy called.
"Yeah?" I turned.
"I, um... Can you? Uh... Would you?" He said, figuring out what to say.
"Hey. No worries. I'll go talk to her." I said.
"Thanks.. I just.. I don't understand her.. Like at all..." He said.
"Yeah.. Well, she has a temper.. That, I know. She'll get softer eventually..." I assured him.
"Thank.. You're the best... And I appreciate you going on this quest.." He said.
"Well, I got chased by Empousai and they made it pretty clear that I'm one of the half-blood mentioned." I said.
"Yeah.... Well... I'll go pack..." Percy said. "You should too."
"Yeah. Sure. And I'll go talk to her..." I said.
"Okay. Bye." He said and walked, ran, to his cabin.
"Bye." I mumbled as I walked back to my cabin.
