Third Person's POV
"Percy." Annabeth called.
"Hm? What?" Percy mumbled.
"C'mon. Wake up." Annabeth said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. The dragon went away." He said.
"Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said, kissing him. "We need to go."
"What?" He mumbled.
"We need to go. We have so little time to prepare." Annabeth told him.
"What? Why?" Percy said.
"Reyna came back last night. They're gonna attack soon. We're literally a step away from war." Annabeth said, her eyes begging. "W-we need strategies, a-and w-weapons, a-a-and-"
Tears was at the brim of her eyes, she was sobbing, and shaking. Percy pulled her into a hug, and she cried.
"We're going to make it through this. And the. We'll all be together, and safe." Percy whispered softly.
"I can't live without you Seaweed Brain. P-please d-don't-"
"I love you. And even if I die-"
"No. N-no. Don't-"
"Even if I die. I will love you, forever and always." Percy said. He planted a long and passionate kiss on her lips, pulling her closer and closer.
The truth is, Percy knew he might not make it through this war.
Percy knew that. He accepted it. He's just sparing Annabeth's feelings and fears. He didn't want her to worry, or lose focus causing her to die.
"I love you Annabeth. Never forget that. And I know this is hard, but I need you to pull through." Percy said. "The campers need us."
"Okay." She said, wiping her tears away. "Okay." She breathes.
"Okay." Percy said, kissing her again.
"We need to go." Annabeth said.
"I'll be out in a minute." He said.
"Okay." She said, before exiting cabin 3.
Percy ran around and found a paper, an envelope, and he clicked on riptide. He wrote myself a quick note for Annabeth, just in case.
Sealed the envelope, and placed it in his pocket. He took out the ring, and hid it in his drawer, next to his bed. For safe keeping.
Percy ran out to meet the others. Everyone was gathered in the field of Mars. Everyone. Still half panicking.
The news of an attack, travels like a wind. Everything and everyone knew. Under aged half-bloods are sent to New Rome. The elder Half-Blood had even decided to strap into an armor and help. Old Campers who went to college was back in their training outfits.
None of them, wanted to see Nyx win.
The Athena kids was talking battle strategies. Dividing people in groups for different type of attack. Plan A. Plan B. Plan C. Back up for plan A. Back up for back up plan B.
Everything.
Jason was giving a pep talk to the Romans. Everyone, was fitting down to their armor. Saying good-luck, or even goodbye to their loved ones.
"Okay, so this group, is going to stand there. In New York." Malcolm said.
"This one around New Rome." Sophie said.
"This one is on border duty." Annabeth said.
"The medic supplies are done." Harley said.
"Harley you shouldn't be here." Leo said.
