Queen Sess

Alex's POV

"Oh Styx." Nico said.

"Oh shit." I said. Nico looked at me like I said something weird.

"What?! I've been a teenager longer that I've been a demigod. Don't judge me!" I said as focused his vision back at the dracanae.

"Well hello ssson of Hadessss." The first one hissed. No kidding, she's a snake...

"Really... You guys really know me only by my title?" Nico asked.

"I am queen Sesssss." She hissed.

"And how many 's' is that?" I said.

"How dare you?!" Queen 'Sesssss' said.

"Do you really think it's a good time to be making a joke?" Nico said and I shrugged.

"What do you want?" I said bluntly.

"Well... I want to kill you..." She said between the occasional hissing and cackle.

"How about no?" Nico said. "I've had enough monsters claiming they want to kill me."

"Monstersss?!" She said. "I am not a monssster. I'm a queen..."

"Right...." I said. "Sword?" I whispered at Nico. He gave me a wink and I saw his black Stygian sword. The queen 'Sesssss' and her 'subjects' didn't, apparently.

"Why kill us? What is it for you?" Nico asked.

"Our patron.... Ssshe guaranteed a world where I WILL BE QUEEN!!" She said.

"Don't tell me it's Gaea..." I said.

"I've had enough of that dirt queen..." Nico said.

"No... Not exactly..." She said. "But know, I have to kill you."

The dracanae charged at us. One jumped at Nico, with one strike of the black Stygian, she disintegrated.

"One down, 4 to go." I said.

Queen Sess seem to have her eye on me. She hit me with her, tail? Legs? The scaley thing she walks on that looks like snake tail?

She hit me with that 'thing' leaving a huge red gash across my cheek, and another strike to my back. I swung my sword at her, but one of her minions jumped in front of me. A cut right through her body and she disintegrated.

"That's another one, 3 to go." Nico said.

One dracanae grabbed Nico by the leg and he flew straight to the sea. It was a hard fall. I was running in to help him when I saw a black Stygian sword fly by and stabbed the same dracanae. Nico stepped out of the shadows, drenched wet, to find a shocked me.

"It's sunset..." He explained. "One more down, 2 to go."

"Um... Nico?" I said.

Dracanae are popping out of everywhere. 2, 5, 10, 20, 30 dracanae, they literally walked out of everywhere.

"Where do they come from?!" Nico yelled as he stabbed one.

"Everywhere." I groaned as I cut slashed one in the throat.

"Kill them!! Don't dissssapoint our misssstresss..." Queen Sess hissed.

"We can't kill all of them! There's to much of them!" Nico said.

I was fighting of queen Sess when I turned to see Nico fall down on his knees with a cut to his side.

"Nico!!" I yelled as slashed queen Sess's side. She screamed out of pain.
