Third Person's POV
"Percy." Annabeth called. "Come on. Let's get dinner."
"I'm still tired..." Percy moaned, burying his face in his pillow again.
"You can sleep after dinner." Annabeth said. "Come on. We already missed lunch."
"Ugh." Percy groaned. "Fine."
"That's my boy." Annabeth joked.
"Friend." Percy added. "That's my boy- FRIEND."
"Seaweed brain." Annabeth rolled her eyes.
"Let's go." Percy said, unknowingly messing up his hair.
"Hey." Sophie said, as Annabeth head to the Cabin 6 table.
"Hey."
"You missed lunch."
"I know. 'Was with Percy."
"Everybody knows that." Malcolm piped up.
"Oh shut up." Annabeth stuck her tongue out at her brother. "So... How is Sophie?"
"I'm right here!" Sophie yelled.
"That's not what I meant!" Annabeth defended. "I mean, how are you doing in the cabin. I know better then to ask a situation from a child of Athena without another judgement."
"She's doing fine. Like any other of our siblings." Malcolm said. "New project."
"Oh?" Annabeth said.
"Lotion. Ambrosia, nectar. Instant healing, instead of drinking, eating and waiting." Sophie said.
"Oh. How far?"
"Almost done." Sophie said.
"We're gonna need loads." Annabeth said. "If you could, we need stocks for the possible upcoming war. Injections would be good, for bone damage, or stuff like that. Severe inside damage."
"I could." Sophie said. "Should've thought of that."
"Oh! And search engines. We're going to do lots of research." Annabeth said.
"For the upcoming-"
"Yes." Annabeth said.
"Annabeth?" Nick called. "Where are we? In this war I mean."
"Research team, obviously, that's what we're good at. Briefing starts tomorrow." Annabeth said.
"Do you think we have a chance to win?" Nick asked.
"I-" Annabeth said. "I-i don't know.."
The table went silent. The war is a touchy subject in the mess hall. Some people was muttering, and the next table heard, and talked about the same thing. After a few seconds of talking, the table grew quiet, and then the mess hall was awkwardly silent. Percy, noticing everybody's sudden lost of apatite, sighed, stood up, cleared his throat.
"Look." Percy said, as everyone's heads snapped his direction. "I was gonna save the speech for tomorrow. But it looks like you guys need the pep talk."
Annabeth got up, and walked next to him, as Percy gave her a hug.
"Look. I know we're kind of in the dark this time around. But we're together. And we will get through." Percy said. "We've been in 2 wars. The titans lost. And the giants lost. We have note training and experience than ever. And Nyx is going to have another thing coming her way."
This was returned by complete and utter silence.
"He's right." Jason said, also standing up. "We practically have our own army. We trained, we have experience. We have this advantage. We have information. You guys don't have to worry."
