Percy's POV (EDITED)
"Hey." I called. "Any luck?"The girls were inside Bunker 9. That became our homebase when we started looking for Leo. It seemed like the best choice, and it is. The place had all sorts of bulletin boards, technology, maps. It was the perfect place of a homebase to find someone. A perfect place for a manhunt.
I've never done a manhunt before, looking for someone. I have though, been man-hunted. That time when the police thought I kidnapped my own mom and killed her and then traveled across America? Yeah, that one.
We have all sorts of datas, and phone numbers, contacts from other countries' immigration service, and ambassador. We went all out. Go big, or go home. Us boys had just finished breakfast. The girls had decided to go and find Leo, again, since they finished early, and well, they woke up early.
"No." Annabeth groaned, frustrated.
"We planned on sending him another IM." Piper said.
"Have you found out what was blocking our previous hundreds of IMs?" Jason asked.
"No." Hazel said. "But we have to try and send it anyway."
"We've left hundreds of messages, where is he?" Frank said. "He should've at least, got one by now!"
And just like a miracle, a misty screen appeared in front of us, right in the middle of the bunker. I expected it to be from my mom, or Annabeth's Dad, or someone from Camp Jupiter, but when the screen showed us the face of the Hispanic boy we know as Leo Valdez (possibly Miguel), the girls, and some of the guys (okay, all of the guys), broke out screaming.
"Guys! Guys!" Leo yelled. "Don't be scared! I'm not a ghost! I'm not here to haunt you!" He said, as you know, we screamed. Hazel and Piper was extremely freaked out. They were hyperventilating, out of joy and anger.
"LEO!!" Piper scolded as he visibly flinched. "ONE YEAR! One year! And NOTHING!" She yelled.
"We know you're not dead, but you could've at least CALLED!" Hazel yelled next.
"Leo Valdez, you absolute idiot, do you know how worried we were?" Annabeth said calmly, but I have a feeling Leo was more scared at her calm tone, rather than Piper and Hazel's yelling.
"Sorry?" Leo said. "Well to be fair, I got stranded in Rio-"
"I knew it." I said.
"-and well, it took me months to fix Festus so we could fly back home. And by we, I mean me and Calypso."
"Calypso and I." Frank said, still a little bit teary eyed.
"Are you trying to Annabeth me, Frank?" Leo asked as everyone laughed.
"Where are you?" Jason asked.
"Where am- Calypso. Where are we?" Leo asked, as a distant voice replied, 'Somewhere in Ecuador.'. "Ecuador. I'm currently in Ecuador."
"Why are you in Ecuador?" I asked.
"See. The supply of Celestial Bronze that I could find, or ever so summon from my belt, cannot fix this Dragon of mine. I would rent a car if I had the money, but, I don't. besides. I'm not leaving Festus in Ecuador." Leo said.
"We could send you some, you know. The pegasi, and the eagles have been looking for you, everywhere. If you could've JUST CALLED." Piper said. "We could've sent you supplies ages ago."
"Yeah.. Sorry about that. Before Rio, I took stop at Italy, France, Spain. Not intentionally. Usually it's because Festus needs sleep and a charge." Leo said.
